31. The onion of deceit, lies and coverups gets unpeeled, we'll never know it all. This is an addict with lots of money, power and influence getting what he wants when he wants it, to feed his habit, an addict pure and simple. One major difference in this case, the real truth about Doctors is coming out, they are for the most part drug pushers, don't really care about their patients, money is the bottom line, Dr. feel good. There are some good Dr.'s out there that will not stoop this low at least on this level of corruption. Nursing homes, drug treatment facilities, psychiatric wards, even prisons ; patients are being maintained on drugs, making zombies out of them which obviously makes all the psychiatric problems worse not better. I know of many elderly in assisted living facilities that are hooked, dying a slow death, knowing deep inside that something is very wrong, the Dr.'s tell them they are okay, they feel better because they don't feel anything and they know they are all messed up inside. I call these people prisoners of these quacks and the drugs they dispense, a crime pure ans simple. God and God alone can and will break your addictions if you turn to HIM and ask for help, you have nothing to lose, everything to gain, you can always go back to the pain of addiction if it fails. I can guarantee it will not fail, it worked for me, I am not unique. Ask God for help now, you will not regret it.

33. You don't have to be rich or famous to get away with this stuff. I have family members who have several doctors and each doc gives them whatever pills they want. They also use others names. My mother-in-law has overdosed on prescription does several times and has been hospolized for several days because of it, no one seems to notice all the meds she has in her system...she gets out of the hospital and starts all over agian. She thinks it's fine because her "Doctors" prescribed these pills to her. It's not uncommon.

34. All of a sudden everybody hates michael jackson! When he was banging out hit records he was god . now the media is trying to corrupt his legacy and riddle it with drugs just like Elvis. Give me a break. All hypocrites

35. There is a legal way for Docs to use an alias for high-profile people. I forgot the details, but there actually is a way the DEA allows this-- so this isn't shocking.

Someone LIKED him be a mess, because otherwise they could have put him on Methadone, and he would have had his pain and dependence treated in a very safe way... I am very sure that someone was benefiting from him needing to get fixed all the time.

36. Ugh these doctors are pissing me off! What is so hard about saying, "No, if I give you these drugs they will kill you!"

I hope any person out there who is treating a celebrity or someone they admire, can stand up and say NO. Do not give in to money. Do not give into someone because of their fame. Think about the long run - anesthetics are not safe for every day use or if you need help sleeping.

It absolutely blows my mind that these doctors would give in. Tells a lot about people these days - money and fame are more important than the life of an icon.

I know MJ was the addict and he would do anything to get these drugs but if every doctor told him "No" and told him the dangers of the drug and called up a psychologist to get him help then MJ would not be where he is now.

These doctors are acting more like drug dealers than medical professionals. It is very sad.

37. I agree with #35. Maybe $$$$ and power helped MJ score such powerful drugs, but scoring scripts all over town with multiple docs - all sorts of regular folks do this every day all over the place. Re people saying TMZ shouldn't do stories about MJ's drug addictions and habits, I disagree. It would be astounding to discover that drugs are not implicated somehow in his death. That he was a FABULOUSLY wealthy addict doesn't take away from the terrible fact: he was clearly addicted to some extremely powerful and dangerous drugs. It's difficult to believe all these La Toya interviews. Let's not forget that she claimed that the child molestation claims against MJ they were true - and then publicly retracted her claims. How much credibility does this woman have? In nother TMZ stories, TMZ reported that Janet had also used aliases to score drugs. Sounds like the whole J family is a bunch of addicts and child abusers. I pray for MJ's kids. The other thing all these TMZ stories about MJ's docs illustrate so very well is how money talks. The docs could've said no. All these docs who will now claim they couldn't - that's BS. They wouldn't say no because caCHING they caCHING knew caCHING they would miss out on the caCHING money. Is this the same reason the J family never intervened? Janet and LaToya's claims that they tried/planned to and Jermaine saying at the memorial that he was MJ's "backbone" (some backbone, huh?)...wow..... All I can say is, my family history won't be written by hagiographers, but I sure am glad I'm not related to the J family.

39. MJ should have been charged years ago with using prescriptions not in his name. CPS should have been investigating him, too. How can he be a fit parent when he was so strung out on drugs? He is also a master manipulator, like many drug addicts. How and why this went on for long is beyond me.

40. OK PEOPLE WHEN JACKSON WAS ON TRIAL AND ALL THE DRUG ACUSATIONS CAME TO LIGHT AND EVEN LONG AFTER THINK ABOUT IT. 41. I've read a lot of comments from Lupis sufferers and I agree if meds for pain is the only solution, that's fine.. But none of them have stated they go to every doctor in town to get prescriptions.. I would think ONE doctor could keep prescribing with no problem if he had this illness. And also, if he was always in such pain, how could he do all these upcoming shows? Even with meds, do people with this illness feel they could handle 50 shows?

43. if he didn't get his drugs from corrupt drug dealin docs then he would have resorted to heroin or some street drug, the guy was a junkie, no better or worse. he just had the money to get better drugs.
