Miley's 'Bolt' Contract Comes Back to Bite Her

Miley Cyrus's 'Bolt' Contract Comes Back to Bite Her Miley Cyrus made some sweet money doing the voice of Penny in the movie 'Bolt' -- but she came this close to making a whole lot more.

We got our hands on Miley's contract -- filed with the court -- which says she was paid $10,000 a day for the voice-over work.

But here's the rub, if the movie had grossed $125 million domestically, Miley would have pulled in an extra $175,000 ... and then another huge pile of cash for every $25 million above that.

The final domestic gross: $114 million. Ouch.

53. to play the DA here. yes she made a ton of money but given the number of girls that flock to see all things Miley, she could have demanded a lot more. the scaled pay actually makes a lot of sense. how cracked is it that someone can make $10 million on a movie that barely covers its budget much less makes a profit. the bigwigs will tell you that that pay is cause Mr X is supposed to bring in the box office. but they don't reclaim part of the pay when he doesn't. so lets pay them less up front and give them bonuses for a job very very well done. like this contract would have

54. Username "TIm," the article says that the film grossed $114 million domestically and this number is accurate. It did a little better internationally than it did in the US but TMZ was correct on their figure. You can verify this information by checking out this site.
