Nas is a rapper that has made millions over at least a 12 year span. He may only be making a over a 100k now but the guys has a fortune. and for those of you doubting that shut up until you can reach his talent level. You problably could not even step foot into his bank. For the most part his raps are about young black men cleaning themselves up stupid. The guy is a lyrical poet! check any sites! BTW he would not have been this rich if only poor blacks brought his music idiot. The fact that you took time out of your day to comment on him makes him a winner and u the loser!

The last time I check Kelis's is a singer that has a fan base tha is mostly white. She is a pop star not a rap star. She is only asking for the amount because she also make money touring but has not due to carrying his son!

She should get at least 15k a month...

66. With the ressession going on, kellis is obviously clueless. Nas isn't that big of a star to make that much money. So i think he doesn't have as much as she thinks he does. 5 years ago, maybe. Now? Not so much. Honestly, people are spending their money stupidly in this industry, they will be bankrupt soon.

I agree 5000 a month in child support is MORE THAN ENOUGH!!!!!! i mean some people can only afford to pay 100 bucks a month child support (those on welfare)........SOME people don't even make 5000 dollars a month working (average american who doesn't have a good paying job)! She is just way too greedy......

69. Also, in terms he actually makes 100k a month. Why is it his purpose to lavish her greedy lifestyle? If she raised her child without nannies, provided to be a nurturing mother without having to rely on assistance all the time like other celeb moms, she could easily live off 5000 a month in child support. Just because she has to have the best of everything, makes it that much more expensive...and unneeded. I don't care how much someone makes.

For those who have the dough and don't want to marry a gold digger: SIGN A PRENUP!!!!!!!!! And as far as kids go, pay only as much as the child really needs, set up a trust fund for the child so the mother can't get her hands on it..not what the mother needs.

75. Do you people see the crew Nas hangs out with constantly? He probably pays for all his "friends" to have a good time yet he doesn't feel that paying for his own damn kid to survive is fair. You can support your entourage but you can't support your kid? How pathetic!
Maybe if you didn't spend all your money on needless luxuries and women and your entourage of "friends" you might have a couple extra bucks to spare. The $5k a month is a reasonable amount for a new baby, but to bitch and whine about it is just plain disrespectful.
Should have thought about having a kid before you went and did it. Sounds like someone needs to get their priorities straight.
