Thanks to a brand new $45 million deal, Ryan Seacrest will be back hosting "American Idol" next season -- but Kara DioGuardi might have reason to worry.
Seacrest -- who is now richer than fettuccine alfredo -- was eating with Jennifer Lopez this weekend at Madeo when we suggested she take Paula Abdul's place on the panel ... Ryan said he'd love to see J. Lo sitting "next to" her.
They'd be crazy to get rid of Simon ... Kara D., not so much.

I think it is crazy for anyone to make that kind of money this country is being ran into the ground by the HNIC giving our money away to other countries.I am soooo tired hearing about celebs and corporations helping other countires cause it is the in thing to do why not help the country that made you what you are and the bank account you have because if we have to wait for the government with a President that is more concerned with help other countries instead of the one he was hired to help this country will die like Micheal Jackson too young too soon

66. Kara was soooooooo annoying! I couldn't stand her. I love Paula because she's a ditz and I love Simon because he's the only one who gets it right. I could live without Randy but PLEASE get rid of Kara! J-Lo might be OK...she was nicer as a mentor than I had expected. My favorite mentor by far was Barry Manilow. He was so kind and helpful. Why not have a rotating 4th judge? The big people can't commit to the entire series but they might do one or two weeks.

68. Who cares if Ryan is gay or not?? He's just as annoying and unlikeable either way, and I am disgusted that anyone would think that Ryan Seacrest is worth 45 million dollars!!!! I feel sick when I think about all our homeless people sleeping under bridges and on sidewalks going thristy and hungry and would feel rich and blessed to have a hundred dollars. People who can't afford to go to a Doctor nor pay for their medicine. What does he do for that kind of money? Why pay him that much to keep him on the shows? He isn't worth it !! I won't be watching another season of AI or anything on E.
