32. Christian Bale is an awesome actor. He's intense and delivers every time. Some douchebag walks into a scene when he's trying to stay in character during a heavy scene and he comes out the bad guy. I would have kicked that guys ass if he walked into my scene. These people are paid very well. They should be professional enough to let the actor's do their job. If an actor was screwing up that guys job something tells me he'd react in a very similar fashion. Bottom line: Christian Bale is a great actor and delivers every time.

33. hey kevin. he IS losing weight and thinning out his hair to play a boxer turned trainer turned drug addict...its filming in lowell AS WE SPEAK....im not sure of year the movie will be set in. but the guy who bale is playing and the guy who mark wahlberg is playing were most popular in the early-mid 90's...hence the acid washed jeans.

40. I love Christian Bale and I worry about him doing this too many times. He's an incredible actor and totally immerses himself, but I hope he doesn't go too far. I can't wait to see what he does with this role.

41. Christian Bale is a "Method Actor"...It is a learned process, taught by some of the greats, where one literally immerses themselves into their character...
"The Machinist" showed that Bale has incredible skill and discipline, and every other "type-cast" role he's played since seems mundane...While I do like his depiction of "Batman", he will burn out on that role soon enough as there's really no challenge there...
