The now 400 lb Southern belle was bombarded yesterday at The Grove -- where one fanatic let us all know, for the record, Ruby "smells amazing."

Ruby is awesome! Keep going Ruby you are doing great. I think you are awesome because you are trying so hard and sticking with it and not giving up. Keep making us and especially yourselfffff proud!
Weight loss is easy if you have discipline and aren't a habitualized couch creep: reduce your ingestion of refined sugars to less than 35 gm a day, never eat big meals, never eat fried foods, take salmon oil capsules, get lots of low-sugar fruit, veggies and fibre, stay away from the starchy foods for two months, and basically stay on lean protein and veggies for two months. Drink lots of water, take extra calcium, magnesium, zinc and B complex 100mg daily, get into lots of easy daily aerobics like extended walking, swimming, run/walk/run/walk, weight lifting, and tons of sleep. Don't use things like ephedrine more than three times a week. Go see a metabolism expert and set goals. Of course if you live in LA you're already 35 pounds underweight and need to reverse everything above, ha ha ha.
#36 - What show were you watching? She met with the dude from NY on her doctor's suggestion and she wants to mix up her workout, plus Reese wouldn't even listen to her when she said the treadmill was bothering her knee. What's ungrateful about that?
#42 - Please do us all a favor and DIAF.
Ruby is doing a great job losing the weight, but probably won't be able to keep it off without recovering the "lost years" she has no memory of.
Wait a second, let me make sure I got this straight... this fat pig lost 100 lbs, now she's "down" to ONLY 400? Wow! She's only got another 250 or so to go!
I think Ruby is great! She is just showing everyone how hard it is to lose weight. Some people on here are extremely mean. If you don't like her don't watch the show! There is no need to slam her because she is over weight! I wish we could see all the ones that are writing negative things so they can be picked apart. The bottom line is that (back away from the ho ho) is probably so ugly that it wouldn't matter how long she was in the gym she will never be as beautiful as Ms Ruby! I wish her the best of luck and continued success!
I dont know who this lady is(cos im from the u.k) but she seems like a delightful warm lady who has alot of time for her fans and alot of people clearly love her:)
"...doesn't it take alot of hard work to gain that much weight?"
Yes, and it also takes A LOT of hard work to learn the English language.
Why is everyone getting so uptight because TMZ made a slight mistake in reporting this heffers weight? SO they were 34 lbs. off, like it makes a difference when someone is this damn big??? Get a grip fatties..U cows sure stick together. To Skinny and Back Away From the Ho Ho...right on! Couldn't have said it better myself. THis lady is not an inspiration to young girls and other women, she is a poor example of what happens when you have no discipline or self control. Whiney, playing the victim and letting yourself get that unhealthy in the first place is no role model. A few pounds over the years is understandable but 485? Come on! Gross. Too bad if the other fatties reading this don't like it, either. I can hear the heard now......
The reason why Ruby is such an inspiration is that she doesn't look backwards but forwards: she's taken responsibility for her weight and shape and has spent a fairly gruelling number of years doing something about it in front of omni-present TV cameras.
After reading negagive comments like comment 39, I'm really glad I'm not American! This geezer needs to go back to school to learn spelling, grammar and good manners.
Regarding an earlier comment from Polar Bear, - thanks for all the nutrition advice, but hope you realise that not everybody is rich, not everybody has time free to go to the gym and not everybody is able to avoid calorie-laden meals at home (blame the parents) or at work (bad canteens, fast food outlets only available), and many fat people coming off double work shifts often find the food shops closed. People driving long distances often go into service stations for coffee and something to eat, and 9 times out of 10, all they can find is crisps and chocolate.
People going out with friends often get criticised if they don't eat and drink all the junk stuff that's on offer.
So a bit less of the "how did they get there" atagonism; as far as Ruby's concerned, that's ancient history, she's looking forward to halving her weight - again!!
Go girl!
I'm happy for her, that she had the help with a diet plan, which I looked up, extremely expensive plan, I'm sure that the show paid for it, and not her, because she said she was on disability, which was probably Social Security Disability, that wouldn't even come close to covering the cost of her meal plan, and her personal trainers. Unless you are quite wealthy, or having a show pay your cost, you are stuck doing it like the rest of us, on your own, preparing your own food, and working out in a gym, WITHOUT the personal trainer, It's good she had the help, but somewhere along the line, she forgot, other people don't access to Style Networks funds
Britney Spears might miss a lot more 'X Factor' auditions ... because she can! Simon Cowell gave Brit damn near free reign in order to sign the pop star to that $15 million deal -- but is it backfiring? We'll tell you what peeps on the set are saying.Plus, Chris Jericho's…
