1216. I don't understand Jehovah's Witnesses-where does it say in the Bible if someone makes a false prophecy, not just one but several that it is ok because it was a long time ago? Why in the world does it matter that what was FALSELY taught was in the past? It does not make it ok now!!! Balaam is no less a false prophet now then he was way back when just because it was long ago! The whole point of scripture is it is infallible and it says 'once a false prophet always a false prophet!' And the Watchtower is SO obvious-they always change their dates when their false prophecies fail! That is not 'new light' that is 'saving face because we have to because we spoke in the name of Jehovah so now we have to come up with something else to keep our false religion alive'. It's hilarious how they justify it because it was a long time ago. It's not individual Christians who misinterpreted, it is an organization that claims to be the ONLY channel of God, that Jesus is the Head and approves of ONLY that organization and they claim to be His only Prophet, that PLAINLY equals 'FALSE PROPHET' by the scriptures standards, but of course they don't have follow the scriptures when it goes against what their false prophet tells them what to believe! They are so obvious!!

1217. True religion is based on the bible, not man made doctrine. Human opinions in the end will not matter to God. Clearly He stated that He refines his servants. Thus repeatedly the bible states to be obedient. (1 Peter 1:13-16)

The name Jehovah means 'He Causes to Become', that is according to His will. Humble servants of God come to realize this as they are imperfect. And willingly and continually adjust their lives to be approved by Him. This is a demonstration of what faith is. Having a clear understanding of the bible, one can come to understand that no man can direct his own steps. Instead he is corrected and disciplined by Jehovah IF one allows it. (Malachi 3:17-18)

One opposed to Jehovah's Witnesses would be better served by examining their own religion in comparison to what the bible states. To test out their own beliefs.(Phil.1: 8-11) As the bible read in it's entirety is the final authority. In the end everyone will be examined by God as to what his own works were. (Matthew 25:34-46)

Jehovah's Witnesses do not worship false god's. The bible states that 'blessed is he that comes in Jehovah's name', who is the Almighty God.(Jeremiah 17: 5-8),(Matt. 21:9) It also prophesied that God's people would be called by his name. (Acts 15:14-17)

(Acts 2:21) 21 And everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved.”’

1219. I imagine you are sincere. However just saying you follow the Bible and actually following it are 2 different things. Jehovah Witnesses interpret the Bible according to what they are told to believe by men in Brooklyn. Plain and simple.

These men in Brooklyn have over and over again shown themselves to be False Prophets. That is not understanding scripture deeper, or 'refining' BIG difference.

False prophecy is saying 'this will happen on a certain date, or by a certain date, it's Jehovah's timetable not ours, we are Jehovah's prophet at this time in history.

AND THEN there's the whole 'it's better to believe the lie then to cause disunity and believe the truth' YOUR LEADERS have said this in Court, under oath. That is NOT from God.

Let me ask you, when is your Religion teaching truth? Today, 10 years ago, 20 years ago, 50 years ago? When have they ever taught 'the truth'. Your truth is subject to a few men changing their mind, and then 7 million change it right a long with them. One day they will die for a cause the next they will condemn anyone who believes what they believed the day before.

That is not refining, that is not of God. The refining He talks of is our Christian Character. As we get closer to God, he refines our understanding of what it means to be like Him, what his thoughts are on Christian conduct, morals, outlook on life etc. Anyone who is a true Christian can attest to this. The longer we follow Him the more apparent our sins are, and the more we realize how much we need a Savior.

THAT IS THE REFINING THE BIBLE TALKS OF...not a bunch of men in Brooklyn deciding they need to change the policies. God is not a dictator, and I am so sorry you have an organization that teaches you that. It's sad.

God NEVER EVER uses false to teach truth. That is from Satan, the big deceiver. If a religion is full of that much wrong false prophecy Jehovah COMMANDS us to realize who the person behind it is (Satan) and to stop touching the unclean thing. False Prophecy, plus false made up man made doctrine is the Watchtower's 'fruit'. I feel for the members because they allow themselves to be deceived.

1220. It should be pointed out that the scriptures being quoted are from the Jehovah Witness Bible. It is not a 'real translation' the translators education, background, religion and just plain who they are is kept a 'secret' and they will not out themselves. Unlike quality Bible Translations where the translators put themselves out there for public scrutiny so that they can be examined by all. Only a coward hides themselves. That Bible is not used in ANY other Church in the world, but theirs, it is considered a poor translation and unlike true translations of the Bible it does not glorify Jesus Christ our Savior. It misquotes, with absolutely no historical backing hundreds of scriptures that completely change the meaning. It is not used by any true Bible Scholar, college or educated person. It is used exclusively by Jehovah's Witnesses. It is ONLY in this Bible, the one written by Jehovah's Witnesses that they find backing for beliefs. It's a vicious circle for them. Satan has woven so many lies in that Religion, it is one of many that he uses to abuse mankind

1221. Sorry, I am not interested in, and will not debate. My comments are directed only at persons wanting to know our view truthfully. Jehovah's Witnesses use God's word as our tool for truth not human opinions. A slave of God does not have to fight. Men of faith have always helped to carry out God's purpose.

It is not truth that Jehovah's Witnesses use only their bible. Jehovah's Witnesses are one of the most bible educated groups in the world. Anyone if they wish can ask for and receive free help from one of Jehovah's Witnesses, globally.

2 Timothy 2:23-26 23Further, turn down foolish and ignorant questionings, knowing they produce fights. 24 But a slave of the Lord does not need to fight, but needs to be gentle toward all, qualified to teach, keeping himself restrained under evil, 25 instructing with mildness those not favorably disposed; as perhaps God may give them repentance leading to an accurate knowledge of truth, 26 and they may come back to their proper senses out from the snare of the Devil, seeing that they have been caught alive by him for the will of that one.


One having godly fear will practice not misleading ones looking for Christ;

1222. Jehovah's Witnesses believe according to the bible that servants of God do not need to be deemed educated by secular education but the holy spirit instead. And need to be humble giving all credit for their knowledge to the heavenly father.

Acts 4:13-17 13Now when they beheld the outspokenness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were men unlettered and ordinary, they got to wondering. It has been written in the bible that God has deemed wisdom of the world foolish. So as it was written it is done.

1 Corinthians 1:19-21 19For it is written: “I will make the wisdom of the wise [men] perish, and the intelligence of the intellectual [men] I will shove aside.” 20 Where is the wise man? Where the scribe? Where the debater of this system of things? Did not God make the wisdom of the world foolish? 21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through its wisdom did not get to know God, God saw good through the foolishness of what is preached to save those believing.

1223. It is true that arguing is wrong. But pointing out the truth about a False Prophet is not wrong. And being blunt and honest about their falsehood is what as a Christian I am to do. We are 'the salt of the earth' and we 'must let our light shine'.

Jehovah's Witnesses are not the most Bible educated in the world. What they are very good at is twisting the Bible to fit their beliefs with complicated explanations. They complicate things and go use tons of words to explain their doctrine, therefore sounding on face value very educated. That is until you sit down and read your Bible without them and you read a non Jehovah Witness Bible then you realize how foolish it their teachings are.

In fact their Religion does not allow independent Bible study groups to form. You are not allowed to get together with your friends and study the Bible only. They state in their policies that people who do that 'go back to the doctrine's the Churches teach' and are the mere act of studying the Bible only, without their literature is an act of 'arrogance, pride and defiance of Jehovah'.' They know their literature very well, not the Bible. They are not allowed to examine the Bible on without the magazines, books and brochures telling them how to interpret the scripture.

If they disagree with one thing that the Religion teaches, no matter how minor they are considered Apostates and kicked out of the religion. If their family is Jehovah's Witnesses they can no longer talk to them about Jehovah or any thing to do with God. Just because they disagree with one thing the Religion teaches. It is Unity at all costs, even if what they are teaching is stupid, makes no sense and you know the scriptures do not teach it you have to go along, and teach other people or be forever banned.

That is not scriptural. That is not Unity, that is giving up your God given gift to think for yourself and let the Holy Spirit guide you and teach you truth.

They believe that if the Holy Spirit convicts you and tells you what they are teaching is not scriptural you are to deny the Holy Spirit and follow their beliefs, no matter the cost. They expect you to commit the unforgivable sin. This belief has resulted in deaths, divorces, and imprisonment for hundreds of thousands of individuals. And most of the things these people have suffered for are now considered scriptural and ok. How sick is that?

I can't believe any religion, with even a vague understanding of the Bible believes you should deny the Holy Spirit to support an organization. That is completely contrary to scripture. Obviously the masses are not educated to have a BIBLE trained conscience. They are educated to have a WATCHTOWER trained conscience.

It's so sad that satan is able to use these people to cause so much harm to so many innocent people.

1225. Those scriptures are correct (small mistranslations, but the point remains intact) and they clearly teach that they are meant for a persons individual relationship with God. They are not talking to an Organization, or a False Prophet, or a denier of the Holy Spirit. They are talking to those who love God and His Son. They are talking of how our Father deals with us, His children as individuals.
I do not see how these relate to an Organization, or specific denomination or specific Church that claims He only works thru them.

It's sad that something s plain can not be seen by people who are following a false religion. They at all cost, and forsaking all common sense defend the Watchtower, not the truth of about God. It is a mind controlling sect. This just helps to prove that point.
