LAPD Treating Jackson Death as Homicide

Multiple law enforcement sources tell TMZ the LAPD is already treating Michael Jackson's death as a homicide, and they are focusing on Dr. Conrad Murray.

Law enforcement sources tell us the evidence points to the anesthesia Propofol as the primary cause of Jackson's death. As we first reported, vials of Propofol were found in Jackson's home after he died.

Law enforcement sources say there is already "plenty of powerful evidence" linking Dr. Murray as the person who administered the drug to Jackson. The evidence includes various items found in Jackson's house, including the Propofol, an IV stand and oxygen tank.

Dr. Murray's lawyer would neither confirm nor deny if his client administered the Propofol.

And we've learned the LAPD has had "multiple conversations" with the L.A. County District Attorney's office, although the case has not been formally presented to the D.A.

32. #7 I am not sure about other states, but in FL if a bartender was to continue to serve to an intoxicated person, or regularly serve a habitual alchaulic, and it results in the death of that person or another by fault that person, they too can be held responsible, and be brought on charges.

Anyway, I don't understand why it is taking so long for them to charge him.... but I am glad to hgear it is in the works its about time. He is guilty on so many counts. yes Michael was an addict, but he needed help not encouragement. I am a very big fan and I am so angry that this happened. Maybe if the damn media would have let him be, then he would not have felt he needed so many drugs to take away the pain. R.I.P Michael

38. Thank God that finally someone will be held responsible for a death that shouldn't of occurred. I really hope this goes down in history for what it is. In my honest opinion: It is murder and I pray that this person or persons pay for the wrong that they have done. It is too late for Anna Nicole and her son Daniel who was obviously murdered, had that not happened to him, she would still be with us today. I am sure of it. God Bless all !!!

44. oh, and i also agree with what someone said above about the docs telling micahel in the past that the drug was safe. i mean, wow, how unethical and misleading! imagine being a doc and telling a patient that heroin is safe. and then that patient overdoses on heroin and dies. can we say outright negligence and carelessness? what the hell is wrong with docs these days? seems that all they care about is money...oh yah, and status. i'm almost 100% sure that if the first doc who michael asked for this drug told him that it's deadly and he wouldn't administer it instead fulfilling his request, michael would've eventually given up on trying to get it. but that first OK is what was stuck in michael's head and he thought it was safe. i mean we are trained to believe that doctors are omniscient and well-meaning and so we trust them, putting our lives in their hands. but i've learned over the years that the majority of them are not!
