51. I didn't see any of his BROTHERS jump in to help him. Did anyone else see any of the actual JACKSON BROTHERS in there helping? I saw one toward the end looking on but didn't even put down his damn guitar! Yeah those Jackson brothers really loved Michael. I think they have all been jealous their whole lives of him and of course they wouldn't help him beat his addiction. HE was the breakout star, not them. Now, mom and the girls, don't know...maybe they did try. Whether they did or not, he's gone. Burns are the worst pain you can have, so I see how he got addicted. Poor, poor guy.

55. God my heart goes out to him more and more each day. He had to deal with so many tragedies. Now I understand how he gotten addicted to pain meds. Plus he had lupus, and ontop of that the skin disease, I saw how that disease was horrid for him on abc last night..

I will never judge anyone by what media says again.

58. Dude, I remember this being a huge deal when I was a kid. The footage they used to show on the news was nowhere near this close up. I remember Pepsi didn't want to award damages because they were saying that his jheri curl spray was responsible, as the bottles warn to keep away from open flame. The defense was that his hair had actually been sprayed with water and, as the video states, the explosion went off a few seconds too early before he would have been out of harm's way. I think they wound up paying him $1M, which he donated to the MJ Burn Unit in the hospital where he was treated. This would be traumatic for anyone, but I'm sure the psychological aspect of it was also magnified for someone very insecure in their appearance to begin.
