Man Claims His Beat Nicked by Pharrell

PharrellEver heard of the band Geggy Tah? We hadn't either until one of its band members just accused Pharrell of some serious musical thievery.

In a federal lawsuit filed this week, Thomas Jordan claims the Pharrell produced track "All I Wanna Do (Feel Like Me)" is a total rip-off of the Geggy's '96 tune "Whoever You Are."

The suit alleges Pharrell produced "Feel" for the rap group The Clipse -- made up of Malice and Pusha T -- back in '97 ... but the song wasn't released until 2007.

Check out the two songs -- "Whoever You Are" and "Feel Like Me" -- and judge for yourself.

46. Geggy Tah had commercial success with this tune.
You're all idiots.
It was played on KROQ etc...
They toured with bands like Soul Coughing and CAKE.

Greg Kurstin produces Lily Allen now. Tommy Jordan has played on a lot of songs
y'all know.

Wonder how this suit will play out.
Sounds like someone be rippin' someone else off...

56. You guys don't know Geggy Tah?? And you call yourselves an online gossip rag??? "Whoever you are" was palyed on the airwaves in Chicago and I'm sure on a number of other radio stations. Yeah they didn't become huge but I heard it a lot on the radio. So it's not like they made a song that never made the airwaves.
