Jackson Police Probe is 'Criminal,' D.A. Says

Michael JacksonThe LAPD's probe into Michael Jackson's death is a criminal investigation -- according to the L.A. County District Attorney's office.

As we have already reported, multiple law enforcement sources say the LAPD is treating Jackson's death as a homicide.

Although a spokesperson for the LAPD characterizes its probe as a "death investigation," L.A. County D.A. spokesperson Sandi Gibbons says, "There have been conversations by District Attorney personnel with police and Coroner officials in connection with the ongoing investigation. It is common for Los Angeles County law enforcement agencies to be in contact with the District Attorney's office during criminal investigations." (emphasis added).

As we reported, LAPD detectives are treating Jackson's death as a homicide and focusing on Dr. Conrad Murray. Law enforcement sources tell us there is powerful evidence showing that Dr. Murray administered Propofol to Jackson and that drug was the primary cause of his death.

16. Even though I'm no fan of ole MJ, I hope that whoever is responsible for providing him with illegal drugs is punished. I could really care less what happened to him; however, he did leave behind the most adorable children who were the innocent victims of this CRIME. NO one made MJ take the drugs and he got what every drug abuser deserves -- but again, the kids were the innocents ones here.

17. TMZ keeps saying the same thing over and over and over. Just hold your horses TMZ until something new comes in. We won't forget MJ. How about the story on Radar online where Klein's ex lover claims Klein is the father of all 3 children.

20. Wasn't the DR. provided to MJ by AEG? What's up with that? Was AEG complicit with MJ's death also? Even if MJ requested Propofol, it's not a substance that should be administered for sleep deprivation but for pre-surgery. So, not matter what MJ requested, this substance should have been denied but the DR. was being paid to cater to MJ by AEG.

AEG should be on trial as the DR was merely an agent of this company. Additionally, the DR did appear to be incompetent because, as stated in an earlier comment, when 911 was called, it appeared that the good DR still had MJ on a bed where he was allegedly attempting CPR when it's proven that MJ should've been on the floor as the 911 operator suggested. My take is that MJ was already too far gone because of negligence on the DR's part.

The DR and AEG are culpable and should be prosecuted and sued for gazillions by the Jackson family.

21. We had a weatherman in our city who was a CRACK HEAD. He received prescription medicine from the station's medical reporter. The doctor lost his license and job! Nothing happened to the crackhead! The junkie stars in a play every year!!!!!!!! If people are addicts, they know what they are doing to their bodies, and should be held accountable for their personal choices. If the medical reporter/doctor lost his job....the basehead should have lost his job too. Just this past year, the honored the crackhead for so many years (about 25 or 30 years of service)!!!!!!!

30. I hope they all pay for this..really intrested in what this DOC has to say..why was this stuff there? why wait 30 min befoe calling911???is that what Micheal wanted or was it his idea so that way he knew that he was dead before anyone could help SAVE him :( :(
