Jackson Police Probe is 'Criminal,' D.A. Says

Michael JacksonThe LAPD's probe into Michael Jackson's death is a criminal investigation -- according to the L.A. County District Attorney's office.

As we have already reported, multiple law enforcement sources say the LAPD is treating Jackson's death as a homicide.

Although a spokesperson for the LAPD characterizes its probe as a "death investigation," L.A. County D.A. spokesperson Sandi Gibbons says, "There have been conversations by District Attorney personnel with police and Coroner officials in connection with the ongoing investigation. It is common for Los Angeles County law enforcement agencies to be in contact with the District Attorney's office during criminal investigations." (emphasis added).

As we reported, LAPD detectives are treating Jackson's death as a homicide and focusing on Dr. Conrad Murray. Law enforcement sources tell us there is powerful evidence showing that Dr. Murray administered Propofol to Jackson and that drug was the primary cause of his death.

35. bottom line is, even though i love michael, he is an addict just like every other addict out there. Addicts dont use good judgement but the difference is he had the money and power to aquire what other addicts can't. It is the DOCTOR'S fault that mike is dead!!! any person with an addiction disease (yes people, it is a disease) can belly-ache and complain for a drug but it is up to doctors to realize when there is a problem and to get the $$ out of their eyes. His physician killed him, along with all of his other enablers that come out after his death and say, "we all told him it was unsafe". This physician needs to be behind bars for a long time, the poor man needed help and nobody provided it. this makes me furious. R.I.P Michael, some of us care

38. When Michael's hair caught on fire when he did the "Pepsi Commercial" is when he started doing pain killers according to the press. Those doctors who supplied him with more and more pain and prescription drugs and at the end with another durg used for anesthesia for operations in hospitals - need to be held accountable for their actions and go to jail.....I don't care how much money someone has to pay the doctor; these doctors are unethical, criminal and just plain murderers who should be held up and made to pay for their actions. This has got to stop...An addict may want a drug, but a doctor does not have to prescribe it to them, use other names, including their own to get the job; or steal the Propopol from a hospital and take it to a person's home. What are they thinking? They are not above the law and this murder investigation should be concluded with an outcome that is "justice", for Michael and many others.

40. Why didn't the LAPD investigate all the drugs found in 2003? All those meds w/other's names...nothing done?? This is such a shame and shame on the 'doctors' who provided the garbage.

41. Before we throw the Dr. under the bus, let's wait until all the facts come out. Michael Jackson was a drug addict who would do anything and pay anythiing to get his drugs of choice. Perhaps he was not happy with the amount of anesthesia admistered by the live-in Doc. He may well have decided to self-inject.

Michaels fans would like to know why Murray didn't call 911 for 30 minutes and why someone injected Michael with Propofol or Dipravan or whatever this is called, this is involuntary manslaughter at the least. Michael could have been saved possibly if that so called "Doctor: would have called 911.

And as for Michael's body, don't tell me you don't know where that is either. Was he cremated? I've heard that his remains have been mixed with concrete and a statue is being made for Neverland.
