Michael Jackson's Unreleased Song

The song -- "A Place with No Name" -- sounds similar to the song "A Horse with No Name" released by the group America back in 1971. We're told several years ago America's manager gave his group's permission for Michael Jackson to record the song, "A Place with No Name" -- despite the similarity.

America's current manager, Jim Morey, who was also Michael's manager in the late 80's and early 90's, tells us, "The band was honored that Michael chose to do their song and they hope it becomes available for all Michael's fans to hear."

It's unclear when Michael recorded the song.

62. Here we go now the songs start coming out This will cure all his past debt of 400 million and keep him rich. MJ faked his death .If anyone believes that he did die that day than this was his plan for everyone to belive he died. no photos no body no conclusion of autopsy they are just looking for the best senario to tell the public. this was his plan. Mj is not a stupid person he knows what he had to do to create money and get out of the limelight! There had to be something in the wings that no one knew about for him to fake his death something bigger than the molestation cases..

63. Why are some of you saying he "ripped off" America's song. If he received permission to use the song it's not ripping it off.... happens all the time in music.

64. Wow, I'm glad Michael was working on new stuff, reworking older music and flexing his creative genius! I actually never cared for "The Horse with No Name" before. But Michael's version is definitely more interesting!

I Miss Him....

#13, Duh, dude. Did you read the article at all or just push on the big picture to make sound go boom?

65. Michael Jackson was obviously a connosieur of fine music. He performed "For the Good Times" a song written by Rhodes Scholar Kris Kristofferson for his mama Katherine because it was her "favorite song". I am not a fan of Pop but I think MJ transends "pop". Michael Jackson's tour with the brothers was my very first concert ever so that speaks volumes.
