Second Worker Dies -- Madonna Breaks Down

7/17/2009 2:45 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Madonna took a moment during her concert in Italy last night to pay tribute to the two men who died constructing her stage in France earlier in the day.

Madonna cried as she called the loss "tragic" and said she was "devastated to be in any way associated with anyone suffering."

Yeah "devastated to be in any way associated with anyone suffering." Tell that to all the men and women that were influenced by your homoerotic behavior and choose to emulate you that now have AIDS and HIV. You were the biggest promotor of homosexual behavior in the 90s and you've help hasten the moral decline of the world. Let alone that you steal children from their homelands and cultures.

I heard the people clap too and I thought "what bastards". Then I realized she's in Italy. They probably don't have a clue what she said. haha! Anyway, I can't stand Madonna. She sucks and I wish she would just go away. SHE CAN'T SING FOR ANYTHING. People try to compare her to Michael Jackson? There is no comparison. He was actually super talented and she just sucks.

OMG, how dare Madonna rescue two babies from a life of standing around a mud hole, swarming with flies with their empty potbellies and skeleton legs praying they get something to eat that day! How could she!

That's almost as horrible as when she donated all that money to aids research, feeding the hungry and most recently
Madonna donated $500000 to Italy quake victims.

In 2007 The Ray of Light Foundation tax report showed that the singer gave away $3.1 million.

Sure, Madonna's a horrible person, not the mean nasty hate purging poster on here hiding
behind their keyboards, spreading ugliness and hatred.

The vast majority of italian people don't understand or speak english. They are cheering and applauding because they don't have a clue about what she's saying. Ofcourse they react emotionally and when she starts crying they try to show their support.
I'm italian too...luckly enough I understand english so I can avoid this embarassing stiuation but it isn't easy to grown in a country with no approriate english teaching.

#107 Ummm, you are sure the workers have health ins. since they work in a high risk job? No. Construction work is not a high paying job nor is it considered high risk. France has free health care so insurance isn't an issue. As for life insurance who knows, but blue collar construction workers are not living high on the hog in France. She should pony up some of her estimated $27 billion net worth. She has enough to spare. In most cases, the more money you have the more stingy you are with it. You have to give a certain amount to charity as a write-off so you don't have to pay out the wazoo.

She couldn't even be bothered to say their names? I bet she never even asked what they were. My heart goes out to their families.

Woo Hoo!!!!

The only reason she is "devastated to be in any way associated with anyone suffering" because now people realize what a cheapskate she is and hires people to work for her based on price and not quality. Maybe if her dumb ass had dropped this stage company after the first accident from LA, this wouldn't have happend AGAIN.

BTW, this "breakdown" sounds so fake. She's so phoney.

Exactly. If she was truly concerned, she could have at least made it personal by mentioning their names. But she didn't find out their names because she doesn't truly care. All she's worried about is getting sued.

Well, as the years have passed, we can still be witness to the fact that her fake accent remains alive and well. It's rather annoying to listen to her speak. It's also quite a shame that she has chosen to "switch" sides and turn her back on the American way of life which to me is also puzzling since America is who made her. Lastly, it is quite a shame in regards to any loss of life, but I think it would be a cold day in hell before we saw Madonna seek a moment of silence during a concert of all of the American lives that have been lost during the war. I used to like Madonna long ago, she has proven herself to be just a regular nobody who has spent her whole life trying to capture her own identity. Europe can keep her in my opinion.
