Jackson's Death 'Almost Certainly' a Homicide

7/24/2009 3:15 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Michael Jackson's DeathLaw enforcement sources tell us the L.A. County Coroner is scheduled to release the autopsy results in Michael Jackson's death next week, and the cause of death will "almost certainly" be homicide -- death at the hands of another.

We're told the Coroner himself will make the call mid-week, after he gets the final toxicology report from an outside consultant. But based on the draft report as well as what has become "clear evidence," causes other than homicide -- natural, accidental, accidental overdose, and suicide -- have been ruled out.

We've already reported that for weeks, the LAPD has treated Jackson's death as a homicide. They have served multiple criminal search warrants -- most recently at Dr. Conrad Murray's Houston medical office. Dr. Murray is actively being investigated as the person who may have administered the powerful anesthesia Propofol to Jackson the day he died.

We're told both the Coroner and LAPD have significant evidence that Propofol caused Jackson's heart to stop.

Junior where do you get your information? Propofol is used in ICUs for people who have to be put in an unconscious state to prevent them from hurting themselves. The patients are not always intubated. They are closely monitored with critical care nurses in attendance. It is important that they are observed at all times either by direct viewing or camera. They can not protect themselves. They are on a monitor which measures the saturation of oxygen in the blood and on a cardiac monitor. It is much easier to use if the patients are intubated as respiratory state does not have to be monitored so closely, but intubation is not always necesary. It also is dependent on the nurse practice act in every state. I am from a state where the quality of nursing care is very high and hospitals have very specific policies and proceedures regarding the use. The nurses have special training in what is called conscious sedation. In some states the use is limited because the education level of their nurses is lower and in small hospitals of course they have less experience using it. It is not only accessible to anesthesiologists and heart doctors. It is prescribed by doctors in many different specialties. What matters for the safety of the patient is the skill of the nursing staff. Doctors order the medication and nurses give it to the patient unless it is used for a proceedure in which an anesthesiologist is needed. So, nurses and pharmacists also have access to it. There are also Nurse anesthetists and Physicians Assisstants who would have access and use it to sedate a patient. Did the cardiologist have a defibrilator? If he did it is only used on certain arrythmias. If MJ was flat line it would be of no use at all. If he was PEA in which the patient still has normal electrical conduction it would be useless. Broken ribs are a frequent finding in CPR, adrenaline is frequently used in the ACLS protocol which all cardiologists know by heart, and addicts often use the veins in their necks. Injecting the adrenaline directly into the heart three times is an indication that the doctor had no IV line established. This could certainly explain the pokes in the neck in which he could have been trying to insert a catheter to get access for medications while coding him. I do not know where you came up with your one drop information for sedation, but that is wrong. Propofol doses can be given as a slow IV infusion or as a bolus. It is never given only as one drop. The beauty of Diprovan is that it is very short acting and is used for patients who it use to be unsafe to sedate. Neurolgical patients can't be give ususal sedatives because they are too long acting. The patient has to be monitored to see if there are neurological changes. You often can't tell if they are starting to bleed into their brain or extending a stroke or if the sedative is causing the symptoms. With Diprovan you can turn it off and almost immediately check the neuro status and then put them down again.

Junior I forgot to say this. Propofol wears off very quickly. If the nurse is right there monitoring the patient they can intervene and prevent a problem. In a non-intubated patient if the patients resperations are decreased to the point of low oxygen saturation the simple solution is to turn off the propofol. Often the patient needs no more intervention than this. If they need assisstance with respitations they can be given oxygen or even bagged for a couple of minutes. This is why the quality of the nursing staff matters.

ok.................At first I felt bad for dear ol doc Murray. I thought he walked into a pile of it and got railroaded into doing things he might not otherwise have done if he had not been begged to do so. With all the evidence coming out it looks like and of course we haven't seen or heard all the evidence ........seems like he is quite guilty of administering the drug to make a buck! and satisfy MJ. Hard to say what we would have done in his shoes.............just imagine being around MJ and how star struck you might be. NONETHELESS he was wrong and so were Kline and a bunch of others. Wish we knew how much money Kline (Klein) made off MJ. Just of bunch of bloodsuckers. I guess in the beginning they wanted to be doctors then the greed set in..............who knows but tis so tragic. As was said earlier he would have OD sooner or later and my guess someone else would have been blamed. I hate he's gone............but play with fire.......play russian roulette and sometimes you lose.

I don't know what to say but it is a very sad event of King of Pop lives. He ended in that horrified death. I found out an important things that medicine that being used by or injected by anestheologist are more causing death, not only for MJ's case but most people having surgery or undergo operations. Anesthetic drugs is more fatal if the doctor who give it doesn't know how or even they knew still more peole died on anesthetic drugs. In the other side of life: I come up with the idea that ''everything in this world, your life, death, born has it own due time.We don't know what kind of death we are going to face tomorrow. Only God know WHY it happened that way. But honestly whatever I tried to convinced myself that MJ passed away but still deep inside I still can't accept the truth that his dead.It is very painful and shocking..BUt in the end only one answer reveal is God's Will and no one can ever conquer with that.God is the powerful of all and it is for us to choose what road we are going to follow. Life on earth is a CHOICE and it is your choice to do that leads you,to fulfill your mission in life and follow God's want for you to do. This world is for us to do our mission and after that if you do good or done with your mission God will reward for that. The reward for that ''to have an a life without end and happiness''the peace that everyone is longing for will not happen in this earth but it will happen in God's heaven.WE LOVE YOU MJ.WE MISS YOU ALOT.

Not murder but manslaughter. The LADA would be CRAZY to seek a conviction for murder under, if it is to be beieved, the information they have at present. There was no conspiracy here.

I still think the possibility is likely that he was murdered. I didn't realize how much Michael believed there was a conspiracy behind the Sony thing. It irates me that they will be making money off this poor guy through his last rehearsal showing. I wish we could boycott but no way will that happen because people will want so much to buy that DVD.

Dr BLT

What a terrible way to die, but the music world will continue to pay tribute to Michael Jackson through songs like this country remake of Billie Jean.

Press Release

The buzz keeps buzzing and the anticipation continues to grow. Dr BLT's country remake of the Michael Jackson song will be released August 8, 2009.

Who would have thought this would work as a country song? Michael Jackson's Billie Jean? Dr BLT discovered that it would a couple of days after Michael Jackson passed away, as he was sitting in front of a local Starbucks in Bakersfield, California, strumming his guitar to a country rhythm.

After running the idea by Big House frontman, Monty Byrom, and having Monty sing it back to him, he was even more convinced. So he's taking it to the studio with rising Bakersfield country artist, Penny Marie. Here's a sample

Billie Jean (duet sample):

19. Poor Michael? Are you people freaking nuts? He sought out these drugs, he used all kinds of aliases, he played with Diprivan for YEARS! Poor Michael? No, poor kids who were created with the express idea they'd NEVER have a mother! How freaking selfish is that? Then they were raised by a drug addict. Now they are orphans, left to live with a bunch of greedy grifters who don't work for a living. Poor Michael? Please!

I cold not agree more--you nailed it!

I don't get it....this is how enabling happens I guess.

For A facto r I knew from the beginning this was going to be a Homocide case and not something accidential. Michael may have been addicted to drugs but that is something that was not his fault, it was the doctors fault who prescribed these drugs to him. They didn't care about him they cared about the money they got paid and as for his staff everyone had to know what was going on the only innocent ones there are the children. No one cared enough to ask his family for help they choose to keep them away because it was about the money he paid them. Michael Jackson was a beautiful soul who gave so much of his self to the world and what did certain individual do they took advantage of his kindness and try to bring him harm even back then with the terrible actusation of the boy who accused him of that terrible crime he never committed. People just never knew when to stop taken and taken, until this tradgic thing happened and now he gone. Such selfish people in the world. We love him and will miss him dearly and I hope in the end so he can rest peacefully the bad seeds that hurt him get their turn.
