Jackson Will -- No Notarization? No Problem

Michael Jackson Will --Katherine Jackson's lawyer is making noise that Michael Jackson's will may not be valid because it wasn't notarized. That's simply not the case.

Katherine's lawyer, Londell McMillan, issued a statement referring to a "suspicious circle of relationships" and an "unnotarized will."

But here's the deal. In California, a will does not have to be notarized to be valid. In fact, most formal wills are not notarized.

I loved Michael Jackson, He was the best singer and entertainer around, he will never be replaced. As for the will, I think he made the right decision for his mother and his children, I don't think the family should let this drag on and on. They should bury Michael and let him rest in peace.

RADJustice------I truly try not to comment or make judgements on what other's opinions are, but this morning I just can't help myself. It seems that you have eaten an extra bowl of Wheaties this morning with your rants. If you could stop yourself and your need to pontificate on subjects that are so obviously dear to your heart, you would realize that most of the commentor's on this webpage lack the enthusiam to write manifestos or read them. I actually flexed a few extra brain muscles this morning to read your rant and those are 2 minutes of my life that I will never get back now. Your views are beyond the scope of this article and the reader's who might accidentally fall prey to your psychosis. I beg you to get another hobby and free yourself from the chains of insanity. Maybe some basketweaving will help ????????

Rad,

I'm not saying that I totally agree with all your reasoning, however, giving you the benefit of the doubt, I have read in the past that when there are people who have the ability to unify people in large numbers that the powers that be do find a way to discredit those people either by making them a pariah in the face of public opinion or by silencing them forever. To name a few: Malcolm X, John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr., Princess Diana, These are all people who had the ability to unite people together. They were silenced.

Michael stood to make AEG, Tom Barrack, Randy Philliphs, Tohme Tohme and whoever else was at the meeting in March in Las Vegas millions of dollars to perform the concerts in London. They would have to prove that he died of a drug overdose according to the clause in the insurance policy (if this is true, it has not been confirmed). AEG would have to recoup their losses against the estate to get their money. According to Brana and McClain the estate is solvent. Have we missed something in all this? Why would you kill your meal ticket. Either Michael was not broke as was stated and all these stories have been lies to throw us off or they held a private auction to private collectors and the estate paid itself off? I don't know. Somebody jump in and help me. What the hell is going on here.

You know, sometimes in settling large estates in can take up to a year to get everything sorted out. Katherine seems to be behaving in an aggressive manner and I do believe it is about securing the estate for the rest of the family/sibling after she is gone. After all MJ was the family meal ticket. However, MJ may have been very wise is leaving the management of his estate to what I'm sure he believed individuals capable of making sound business decisions on behalf of his children. MJ was 50 years old and had lots of experience with his family. There was probably a BIG reason he did not want his family managing his estate/business otherwise he would have stated that in his will. Duh! Now, it appears Michael's children may be the new meal ticket for the Jackson clan. Which is why MJ was smart enough to have put it in writing ie; HIS LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT. MJ you made the right choice for your children.

I lost all respect for MJ back in 1993 for paying off the family of the victim. Then in 2005 when he walked into court everyday and you could see that each day he became less and less of the icon he once was. He became a skeleton, someone who could barely function, and that was sad, very sad. But it doesn't take away that he was charged with some very serious crimes against young boys. Although never convicted, his heart knew the truth, and his drug abuse became even more profound as he couldn't deal with the reality of what his life had become. All Michael Jackson had to do to earn any respect was to come out and tell us all the truth, just get it off his chest, and tell us he was seeking help. But he never did that, and personally I will believe a child over an adult who is accused of such things.

But as his death came so unexpectly, so suddenly I had very mixed up feelings about this man. When he was good he was good, but when he was bad he was very bad. It's like we are talking about two different people as the days wore on and now weeks.

His death has brought out feelings in me about my own personal journey through life, not about Michael Jackson's journey. I've gone into a very self reflective mode over these past several weeks since he died. I can remember exactly who I was with, where I was, and what was going on in my life when that Thriller Video finally aired. The build-up to it was unbelievable and we waited and waited for that broadcast to finally appear. My son was 3 and when the screen lite up with Thriller he began to dance, then he was frightened by the end when Vincent Price made his voice appearance, it was all so surreal to all of us in that room.

This has brought up feelings of my own life's journey since that happened, what has gone on in my own life, and the tragedies that have pursued since. My son is 28 now and doesn't remember any of it, my husband has died, and those people we were with that night are no longer a part of my life and haven't been in more than 20 years, but Michael Jackson's death brought me to the point of locating a couple of them, and I even caught a glimpse of what they are today and I can't help but think of how Michael Jackson's music in the 80's was the link to all of us. I wonder too if they are thinking the same thing right now, about those times, and where they were when Thriller finally aired. I think I'm being sentimental now and pushing aside that part of me that is totally disgusted with what Michael Jackson became.

But to end this saga I felt I needed to write, I also take great comfort that I can look back at those times with saddness because they are gone, but with fondness for they happened in the first place. Finally I can be at this point where I can say with happiness that Michael Jackson's music was a very important part of my life in a positive way, and that it was his music that changed our lives and made us want to dance. So the sadness I have held in for over a month now over lost loved one's, lost friendships, times gone now, but cherished, I can say thank you to Michael Jackson for giving me those memories, for being a big part of our lives.

Even as I still struggle with what he became, what his personal life was or wasn't, I am glad he sang and danced !!!!

296. when catherine dies, her 40 percent ends and goes back into the trust for the children, this is a short lived ticket, joe gets zero, zip ,,,, which is sooo justifiable, as well as the other bubbas, who can't seem to get a job of any sort,

---------------------------------------------

You have no clue what the conditions of anything in the trust is. The only thing that has leaked is the percentages of how things are being divided. Wills are public records. Trusts are not and the details are confidential and never unsealed to the public. The exact details of the trust have not be broadcast, so you're info is bogus.

Today it was announced that Michael Jackson’s mother, Katherine will receive custody of Michael’s children. I found a great article that explains everything. Ex-wife and mother to Prince Michael and Paris, Debbie Rowe, will receive “meaningful visitation rights”. Hopefully this is what is best for the children! Check out the article here:
