Michael Jackson -- Lien on Me

8/5/2009 3:44 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Michael Jackson -- Lien on MeOpen the floodgates -- the creditors are getting in line for a piece of the action in the Michael Jackson estate case.

Segye Times -- a South Korean newspaper -- won a judgment against Katherine, Joe and Jermaine Jackson, along with the Jackson Record Company, back in 1994. The suit claimed the newspaper paid the family $5.5 million for a series of Jackson family concerts in 1989 that never took place.

A judgment was entered for $4 million. Segye Times now wants $7,865,730.78 -- interest is a bitch!

It's interesting that Michael was not sued personally. Nonetheless, under the category "better late than never," Segye wants the estate to pay up.

Stay tuned...

Entertainment Tonight has learned from a source that Michael Jackson's family has signed papers that clear the way for the late singer to be buried at Forest Lawn cemetery in the Hollywood Hills.

I FEEL LIKE PLAYING "MONEY" by MJ.
MJ WAS GENIUS. He had a song for every conceivable situation.

Harvey your the lawyer are they hitting on MJ's estate OR the money Katherine is getting from the estate???? Can they do this? I don't give a da n about the "Jackson brood" but if this comes out of the kids future because these three idiots never kept their word that is WRONG!! This also shows exactly why MJ never put his mother in charge of finances and business that they are trying to get their hands on now. Have another answer session!!

You know, I say the estate should pay. The more money that is paid out, the LESS money the Jackson's can get their greedy little hands on.

I've read that MJ didn't want to do the London shows but that he was forced into it because he was told he was invsolvent and that he owed between $400 to $500 million. He agreed to it against his will. Many people sued him as well. The girl in the video "Thriller" even sued him earlier this year. The problem is the media keeps talking about all the millions he is going to be worth so people/corporations, etc. just want what is owed to them....Sounds appropriate to me.....
