Jackson Memorabilia Missing

8/13/2009 2:45 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Michael Jackson Memorabilia MissingSome of Michael Jackson's memorabilia is missing and the cops are on the case.

Jackson was in a prolonged legal dispute with a guy named Henry Vaccaro, who got a judgment against the singer in the 90s that Jackson never paid. Vaccaro ended up with a treasure trove of memorabilia, including 60 unreleased master tapes -- which contained 26 of Jackson's songs which have never been heard by the public.

We've been told the dispute between Jackson and Vaccaro lingered and recently Vaccaro agreed to give Jackson 8 items that Michael wanted. We do not know which specific items Jackson flagged.

We're told on July 19, two of Jackson's lawyers went with Vaccaro to the storage locker in Las Vegas where the memorabilia was being stored. According to Vaccaro, 114 items were missing, including the 8 items Jackson's lawyers were there to retrieve.

The items ended up being sold a week later by Clark County Public Auction owner Mario Trabado -- who says he acquired the items legally from a private seller.

Michael JacksonJackson's lawyers were suspicious and believe Vaccaro took the items out of the storage unit. Vaccaro says he removed nothing, and filed a report with the North Las Vegas Police Department.

The PD tells us they're investigating the case.

UPDATE: In a police report filed by Henry on July 31, he claimed over $1 million in losses from the missing items.

Michael Jacksons Insurers Paid the settlement. It's old news. Read the court transcrip from the 2005 trial. It was paid against his wishes. He had no choice in the matter. It is a matter of public record. No smoking gun there.

70. You don't need to be an expert to know what drug abuse and narcotics do to sperm and reproductive organs. Why don't you educate yourself just slightly so maybe you wouldn't be so ignorant.

112. 107. Jackson didn't pay up most of the time, funny he paid the kid he molested 26 million. An innocent person would never pay that much money. Michael Jackson was a pedophile.

People fail to see that. They only see what they wanna see. Why would a innocent person pay that much money?

oh so when jc penney paid the second accusers mom janet arvizo's $125,000 even though it was proven that it was her husband and not the security officers who beat her, does that makes them guilty as well. pop stars and companies have reputations to protect if they want to continue to make money, it doesn't matter if they are guilty or not, lots of them pay out so as not to damage their reputation.

we're also forgetting that this was a time when mj was still very wealthy he had just signed a lucrative contract worth a lot, so at that time he could afford to do whatever he wanted with his money e.g when he gave all the money from his dangerous tour to charity, would he have been able to afford that if he was broke

To the comment, number 3, I take my hat off to you !! Well said.
I'm 54 too, no screaming teen, lifelong fan, and still so sad at Michael's passing.
He had people wrong doing him his whole life, and the more I read, the sadder I feel, from his so called Father, right through to now, and I never for one minute, believed he did what they said he did, to have sent him to jail would have been a gross miscarriage of justice, thank god the jury saw sense !
I dont like the sound of the Jackson family, I think they have leeched off MJ his whole life, how come they all live in that compund, and he paid? Do none of them work?
How did St Katherine not know what the vile Joe was doing to her boy?
He WAS different, very different, but that did not make him a criminal, he would NOT hurt any child I'm convinced of that.
Now, his belongings have gone missing, the Jacksons hauled loads out of that house before he was even cold ! Perhaps they have been selling his stuff on Ebay, now that he isn't there to foot the bill for their lives.
Murray, I hope you read this posts, you are going DOWN !!!! Call yourself a Doctor???
Why did no-one get help for Michael, anyone, surely someone in that family had the sense to step in and help? They were stopped by security? CALL THE POLICE !!!! If that had been MY Son/Brother, come hell or high water, I would have got into that house and got him proper help.
How they all show their faces now is beyond me.
Not one person you can say you would trust out of anyone in connection with Michael Jackson, (apart from the children) How sad is that?

Have you seen the autopsy report?
If you have holmes, please tell.
If such an operation did ever take place, someone will talk eventually. Unless they were too cheap, cruel and discreet to use a doctor.

Is there any truth to the rumor that MJ's body has been put into cryopreservation, and that is why it has not been laid to rest?

MJ WAS A JUNKIE

The anesthetic Propofol, suspected in Michael Jackson’s death, has experienced a surge in abusers. Gerald Posner reports on a highly potent drug that’s largely unregulated.

Talking heads on TV universally express shock, in the aftermath of Michael Jackson's death, that anyone would abuse the powerful anesthetic Propofol outside of a hospital surgical setting. Subsequent to Jackson’s apparent overdose, only two instances have emerged of lay people addicted to Propofol. A 21-year-old American bought it on eBay and killed himself while administering it through an IV drip. A 25-year-old German became addicted through a supply he obtained from a local veterinarian clinic.

There is some evidence that Propofol is so strong that just the fumes from the patient’s mouth lead to a secondhand exposure.
But the largely untold story of Propofol addiction is that of the steadily increasing numbers of abusers among medical professionals, primarily anesthesiologists and the nurses who work with it. The Talbott Recovery Campus, in Atlanta, is the world’s largest and oldest treatment center for addicted medical professionals. In 2006, the center had 8 cases of Propofol abuse, 12 in 2007, and 27 in 2008. The numbers are small compared to problems with other prescription pills, especially with anesthesiologists who historically have one of the highest addiction rates among doctors. But the trend is moving in a worrisome direction for those who study it.

“In 2006, it was a phenomenon,” says Dr. Paul Earley, “but now it’s grown to the point where a year ago we instituted on our regular questionnaire whether there had ever been any Propofol abuse.”

Michael Jackson traveled with an anesthesiologist during his mid-1990s tour. It’s not yet known if he was then being administered the white milky substance that had been introduced in 1986. It was only in 1992 that the first human addiction case was recorded, a 31-year-old anesthesiologist who had begun injecting himself up to 100 times daily “to reduce his feelings of boredom, inner tension, and depression.” His addiction was only uncovered when he was found unconscious on the hospital’s bathroom floor one evening.

“There is a very narrow window between getting high, going unconscious, and dying, when it comes to Propofol,” says Dr. Earley. “Only a few cc's more than what's required to put a person to sleep can trigger fatal respiratory arrest. We see impaired professionals who have contusions on their face or body. That’s because they fell unconscious at a desk and hit their face, or literally fell out of a chair. And as you develop a tolerance to the drug, you need more to get high, and that brings someone close to the lethal level.”

Paul Wischmeyer, a University of Colorado anesthesiologist and one of the leading experts on Propofol addiction, became interested in the problem in when he learned that some colleagues were giving themselves minute injections of Propofol, producing a mellow, somewhat spacey high, that lasts only a few minutes. But even that high makes it impossible to function. “It’s not a subtle drug,” says Dr. Earley. "It's not like opiate narcotics, where you can be slightly inebriated on the drug and show up for work. Most of the time on propofol, you inject it and pass out.”

Three years ago, Wischmeyer began the first formal study of Propofol addiction in the medical community, “A Survey of Propofol Abuse in Academic Anesthesia Programs.” One hundred and twenty six anesthesia departments across the U.S. participated. Twenty percent admitted having encountered an addiction problem among staff. Although the numbers were small—25 abusers—Wischmeyer calculated a fivefold increase in Propofol abuse over the past decade. Nearly 40 percent of residents who abused Propofol ended up dead. Others, when confronted, left the medical field instead of staying in a line of work that put them in regular contact with such a powerful addictive substance.

There is some evidence that Propofol is so strong that just the fumes from concentrations around the patient’s mouth during a surgical procedure, where anesthesiologists spend many hours, lead to a secondhand exposure to “aerosolized Propofol,” which can create an increased risk of full-time abuse in susceptible persons. Another part of the problem, according to Wischmeyer, is that despite the evidence of its strong addictive potential, Propofol remains mostly unregulated. The FDA does not consider it a controlled substance, and surprisingly, there are no laws requiring the drug to be registered or accounted for at hospitals or medical clinics. Traditional pharmacy rules do not apply to it. Wischmeyer discovered that 71 percent of the medical facilities he polled did nothing to regulate Propofol. As opposed to the more

I agreeDella. At that time MJ had plenty of $$$, paid them off just to
leave him alone and not drag his name through the gutter. Didn't this
settlement involve the same child who now (what 16 years later?) just
recently recanted his allegations and asked for MJs forgiveness?
Or am I mistaken?

Well well you two. Hard to say. It could have been done medically and not surgically. they could have tried a partial medical method. It was certainly not done surgically. It would explain the persistance of the peach fuzz without developing coarse facial hair in his 20's. Rather unusual. Anyway MJ was functioning. You can clearly see evidence of arousal during concert footage after hugging and kissing a young woman.

Michael was a natural tenor. Not a soprano. Tenor, tenor tenor. He is not the first nor will he be the last. Just maybe the best.

Why do people want to spread such malicious rumors ... they all danced to him and LOVED IT at the time. No respect he was a person not just a personality.

Let's just all get along.

MJ wasn't getting high and doing short lower dose injections like these docs. He was given a continuous infusion to knock him out. For fake "sleep"

This particular settlement was not paid by MJ. It was paid through his insurers against his and his lawyers wishes. MJ knew that it would mke him look guilty. Because of the nondisclosure agreement, he could not disclose the terms of said agreement. Therefore they issued a statement they he settled. During the 2005 trial it was entered into the court transcript that the insurers paid the settlement against his wishes. Chandlers could always testify in a criminal trial against MJ but refused. Reason- he would have perjured himself. Again in 2005, he would have perjured himself.

I think the CIA did it because MJ was working with the FBI in an undercover investigation against the IRS which resulted in MJ being DOA.

I don't know if he recanted.. supposedly his father planted the story in his head.. I don't know.
His father is the guilty party here. Out of all those children who stayed at Neverland (boys AND girls) only 2 came out with these stories. I find that sad. The stories that females stayed there were never explored. You ask why? They were not sensational enough.
