Search in Jackson Case -- Smoking Gun?

8/13/2009 6:30 PM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

We've obtained the search warrant used to raid the Las Vegas pharmacy that Dr. Conrad Murray has used in the past, and there appears to be a direct link between the doctor and Propofol ... and there may be a link to Michael Jackson as well.

Search Warrant: Click to view

The documents show authorities were looking for credit card receipts and other docs related to drugs purchased by Dr. Murray on May 12, 2009. The warrant then mentions specific vials of Propofol manufactured by Teva and Hospira, Inc.

We've already reported the LAPD found Propofol manufactured by Teva at Jackson's house.

And authorities were looking for FedEx records relating to "the purchase, transfer, receiving, ordering, delivery and storage of Propofol to Dr. Conrad Murray."

Short story ... it looks like authorities believe they know where and when the Propofol that killed Jackson was purchased.

It is unclear whether authorities got the smoking gun they were looking for. The only thing revealed in the documents is that authorities took "copies of misc. paperwork."

who actually legally ownes all those recordings of the MJ songs that were never put on an album, the ones that were supposed to be in a storage locker somewhere? Can that person legally make a record out of those recordings and sell them?

29. I heard on ET that people were planning to have a Jackson Family Tour.
But the thing is that "supposively" Janet doesnt want to do it cause she thinks they are just using her fame to get people to come.
Whats your take on this.

Response to Yilian- Janet has always been her own star and always striven to get out of the shadow overcast brought on by her brothers and her brother MJ as a solo artist. In addition it has been known that she is more private and feels that her family is using her brother's death as an opportunity to make a quick buck...he relationship with MJ was close so she feels more comfortable remembering him as they were before...in private not in a concert type of atmosphere.

Plus she's making a movie-gotta give her RESPECT though as being the NEXT one in the family behind MJ with the most success-SHE IS CHOOSING TO REMAIN OUT OF THE LIMELIGHT...

Applied Pharmacy Services is a home infusion pharmacy -- meaning they specialize in infusions in the home. Interesting. If this is the case, then WHY and HOW can they sell propofol when it's a drug that is ONLY to be used in a hospital setting?? Is it because Murray is an MD?? Don't MDs have to prescribe medication to an actual patient.....ie: one with a name....It's not like MDs can just go around collecting drugs because they're MDs, riiiiiight??

i hope the authorities throw the (whole law) book at this Dr. Murray. There is no excuse. Michael Jackson should not have died.

That was a really excellent article about Propofol, the grasshopper returns; thank you!

And that was a good question from K.C. about why MJ didn't just pay for the storage unit rental for his parents, especially if it was his stuff being stored there. Hinky on top of hinky stuff going on in that family, including all the disappearances of hard drives, property, etc.

Gentleman,

My question is this....even if the coroner found Propofol in Jackson's system, and even if they can isolate the exact Propofol purchase that Dr. Murray made on Jackson's behalf, will the D.A. really, truly be able to charge the doctor w/ murder or manslaughter? Wouldn't it be more likely to be something like reckless endangerment?

Harvey, I am an Er nurse and when we give Diprivan it has to be on a IV infusion to ensure the amount that drips it. I know from previous reports that there were IV poles do you know if a pump infuser was used. Alarms fo off if it goes in too fast to too slow also another question was there a oxygen moniter found in the home. A cardiologist has no reason to use Diprivan they do not operate that takes a CV surgeon. By the way Diprivan is the drug of choic for a drug induced coma, I know Been there done that. Thanks for allowing me to ask a question.

If propofol is not a "controlled" substance in California, does that limit the charges that the D.A. can go for?

Even if the levels of propofol are not sufficient to be the primary cause of death, can't the Dr. be charged with involuntary manslaughter because he was using it outside of a hospital, and without the necessary monitoring and resuscitation equipment? Nevermind leaving the room to make phone calls which should be enough on its own. Also, since MJ looked so emaciated in the rehearsal video he would be more sensitive to its effects than usual. Just because he used it before with no problems (obviously numerous times - months?) is no excuse to leave a patient unattended. I think the Dr. just rolled the dice one too many times.

Sarah,

YES, YES, and YES! It has been confirmed (by staff at the house-the chef especially) Dr. Murray would stay overnight and come down in the mornings to retrieve MJ's Breakfast..he was rarely seen in the daytime...

It is ALSO being said NOW that the evening (or early AM) the day of MJ's death he stepped out of the room "To make some phone calls" being that he has left MJ in this state before, it was not an issue...What a Dumb A*S!

Question
with today reports about doc Murray leaving MJ alone in the room while he was administering the drug to go chat on the telephone. Does this mean that he could be charge for manslaughter for sure instead of medical negligeance? How serious is this thing with this report? There is just too many things that are not adding up. he did not call 911 in time, did not give proper cpr, removed things from storage,... This really is a big mess.

Harvey

Have the executors done a complete inventory of the estate? How are they ensuring that all property and potential recordings are kept safe?

What is the story on Stacey Howe? Who is she and what is her connection in all of this?

Thanks
