Steven Tyler -- Down, But Out on a Liquor Run

Some people are such idiots. You can't tell what he is buying! But- whoever was taping made sure you saw the background banner that showed it was a liquer store. So they already had alterior motive for that tape....lets say- send a copy to um..tmz to start. Then that guy "just on the phone" just had to say something so Steven would answer.H e couldn't care less about Stevens injuries. Steven as his typical self politely shook the guys hand then asked if the camera person was taping and could they stop..then Mr "I'm just on the phone" guy ) tells the person videotaping "yo do you mind" Like it made him look good. Assh8les! And I don't think Stevens request was honored,,,I think the video camera timer just went off!

Years back I was in Lake Sunn. at an ice cream stand, Steven pulled up with daughter Chelsea (who was very young at the time) and this couple started videotaping him and her. He did his best to ignore the situation then the couple started talking to him..he was kind but said "come on turn that off I'm with my daughter" Instead of honoring the request they just followed him more..You could tell he was pissed but they just kept on filming. This drew tons of attention now he had a whole group of people around him wanting autographs and to do the whole..ohh there is a famous person thing. Then his little girl grabbed the bottom of his shirt tugging gently and asked "When are you going to get our ice cream?" It broke my heart. I felt so bad that they were just going to get ice cream and the couple brought it all on.

I know quite a few people in AA and they still go into liquer stores. He works hard on his soberity. He goes to AA and NA meetings many tmes a month even on tour. He's battleing those, an illness,a hurt leg that probably wasn't given enough time to heal now his shoulder,,went through a divorce, and is trying to handle a tour. I'm glad they cancelled this tour.. Steven needs to recover.

Give the guy space. Even famous people have a right to shop, buy their little girl ice cream...etc.

Any you stupid posters...You all think you are so important as fans to Aerosmith??? they have millions and the true ones will support Steven Tyler All the way through thick and thin.

I go in that Liquor Store all the time! You can only buy Liquor there! The silver tin next to Steven that he grabs two small bottles out of at the top of the video is filled with Nips. STEVEN GET HELP! You fell off the Stage and the Wagon.

Obviously the person who posted that they go to that store all the time and says you can only buy liquor there can't see the rest of the counter..its covered with items that aren't Liquor!!!!

Disease? Haha, that's funny. Do people still think it's a disease? How ridiculous...if the disease is called "don't want to tell yourself no." Then yes, alcholism is a disease.

Another term to make a bunch of people who CHOOSE not to say no feel better about their perdicament. It's your fault, your own fault, not his, not hers, not theirs, not the disease...it's you, grow up and take some responsibility for your actions. Cancer is a disease, alcoholism is not.

Having said that, it is a shame to see Steven struggling again, I have friends who struggle with it and family members as well and it is no fun. Keep your head up and best of luck to you, man.

Steven Tyler- "Oh, Jesus Christ. A good friend of mine and Joe’s — the brother of the guy who works on my house, my housekeeper — passed away. I was at the funeral. And after the funeral, they’re Italian and had a feast at the house, a wake, and I stopped at the liquor store and paid for the booze. I did not buy any for myself. It was never proven that I did. Some kid whipped out a phone and took a picture. Anything to sell papers. It was for the wake. I would do it over and over a million times."

u guys he was only there for a funeral to get some liquir he didn't even want any it was for the memorial and his family is italian so he didn't even want any or the booze u guys! look on www.aeroforceone.com and click on the first story u see its an interview with steven and he says why he was there!!!
