'Real Housewife of O.C.'

Really Evicted

8/26/2009 1:50 AM PDT BY TMZ STAFF

Lynne CurtinIt's curtains for Lynne Curtin -- the "Real Housewives of Orange County" star is finally getting the boot from the home she lived in on the show.

According to sources close to the situation, the Curtin and her husband never forked over more than $12,000 their landlord claimed they owed in rent and other expenses for the home they rented.

The family had several chances to come up with the cash -- see this story -- but we're told they only agreed to reimburse the homeowner for her moving expenses and a late fee.

So now they have 'til Thursday to get their stuff and go -- no word if Bravo cameras will be there for the big exit ... but we can guess...

Hey #6 Lori - are you serious? Paaleeeeeeese! Go and educate yourself!! Why should our government step in and help these financially irresponsible people cause they chose to spend their money on other stuff instead of paying their rent?
I can't believe some of the people posting comments on here! Lori must have a two cell brain!

Why should they fork over "MORE" than they owed?

Maybe they just pretended to live in that house, so their "real" house wouldn't have been on national TV?
I never believed it was their house, there was nothing in it!

Not only are they apparently dead broke (heck, I have more than 12K saved) but it's telling that no one's willing to lend then the $12 so they can avoid eviction. Very telling as to how many true friends they have.

Good point, Me. Actually, a simple insertion of the word "the" is all that TMZ needed to do to make the sentence they clearly intended.

The sentence should have read, "...Curtin and her husband never forked over THE more than $12,000 their landlord claimed they owed in rent."

That would fix it.

However, I do give TMZ props for using the phrase "more than" and resisting the temptation to use the word "over" which would have been stylistically incorrect. Now, if we could just get them to understand (and put into practice) that "under way" is ALWAYS two words and NEVER "underway" I could die a happy woman. See, it takes so little to make me happy!

Oh, and as for the story and its content, Lynn is an absolute idiot. I just couldn't conjure sympathy for her when she teared up after the other vultures/Housewives called her dumb. You know, stupidity is something that is easily remedied. Education is everywhere and one really chooses to remain ignorant.

And, by the way, that house (duplex) was butt-ugly. I was surprised they even allowed her to be videotaped in that house.

Haha. Typical of fake fabulous people in LA and OC leasing their luxury cars and "RENTING" their homes to pretend their fabulous and rich . Obviously have no savings in their account.

From people I have talked to in Laguna Beach, the house they were evicted from is a NEW house in Laguna Beach that they just started renting in June. Word has it they were very possibly evicted from the house that was featured in last season's episodes, which was further south. They have been filming in this new house for the next season starting this fall. The new house was nicer, contemporary, and not ugly at all, from what I hear. Doesn't matter anymore, they've lost this rental house as well. Jeez, you would think they would have their act together in order to reap the income benefits of a Bravo show, but this obviously isn't the case with them or most of the others, it seems.

Franks contractor’s license was suspended on 8-20-09. It’s only for a lack of bond but still…

They wouldn't be in this mess if they would've just paid their bills instead of buying their little brats any and everything they DIDN'T deserve! Get a job, bitches!
