DA Reviewing Merriman/Tequila Incident

Shawne Merrinman and Tila TequilaWe're one step closer to finding out if Shawne Merriman will face charges over the alleged Tila Tequila choking incident -- the District Attorney's Office is now reviewing the case.

Today the DA's office was given all of the information gathered by the San Diego County Sheriff's Department -- which include Tila's citizen's arrest warrant from this weekend accusing Merriman of two felonies: battery and false imprisonment.

The DA can either file charges, reject them, or refer Tila's accusations to the San Diego City Attorney's office for consideration as misdemeanors.

15. So Tila Tequila gets a DA to review the case in less than a week, yet Michael Jackson is murdered more than 2 months ago and the DA has yet to see the damn file (according to Radar Online).
