For the new season of "American Idol," Ellen DeGeneres is taking over Paula Abdul's spot -- but last night on "VH1 Divas," Paula poked fun at her successor and actually stepped into Ellen's shoes ... and hair ... and pantsuit .... and busted some serious moves.

Jealous Much Paula? She's just sad that now that Divas is over she'll fade away and no one will care about her.

Ellen may not know much about music but its not like she'll be much different than Paula in that aspect considering all Paula ever did was tell everyone they were wonderful and beautiful and commented on what they were wearing.

Ellen should provide some humor and will stop the annoying Paula-Simon crap each week.

Keep being Jealous Paula.

She's gonna be on suicide watch once American Idol airs.

We'll miss you Paula (at least I will) but I am looking forward to seeing how Ellen does. Her humor should be able to combat Simon's nastiness. It'll be interesting!
