TMZ was there in Arlington, VA yesterday as Wheeler went all G.I. Jane in an effort to raise money for St. Baldrick's, an organization benefiting kids with cancer.
Check the before and after -- we think she actually pulls off the look.

Why is anyone commenting on her looks? She did a wonderful, selfless thing for pediatric cancer research. She is an amazing woman and someone who should be COMMENDED. We should all strive to give more in life, just like Tara. Tara, we are amazed by you and your dedication. Good luck in everything you do in life. You are an inspiration. Beautiful inside and out.
what is wrong with you idiots and your negative comments? how can any of you find something bad to say about this? it was not a stunt, she did it to raise money so yeah it had to be kind of public you fools. beauty is not just on the inside but on the outside too, maybe some of you who are calling her ugly and being so rude should take a good look at yourselves, are you really proud of the things you are saying? you are what is wrong with the world today and why there is so much evil and hate. i think she looks beautiful and i am sure the people she helped by doing this would agree!
Did you know there has only been 1 new drug approved for kids with cancer in the last 20 years?
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month....Ive seen lots of breast cancer commercials this month, none for kids -we dont have the money.
97% of the kids are on experimental research....we need research money!!

Thats a beauty queen? With Sperm eyebrows? Now Ive seen better pictures of her then these so Im not saying shes not attractive. But good on her for helping out kids. :)
That is truly giving to charity. Money for most people is easy to part with, but for a woman, giving ALL your hair is quite the gift. Good for her. That is a gift.
First of all, anyone who is commenting that "charity should be a secret gift and not a publicity stunt"... how many of you were familiar with St. Baldrick's before this? And this "stunt" has brought more attention to the charity, thus, more people can decide to donate to this cause because now they know about it! And anyone saying she is ugly... would you say the same thing about the children who have lost their hair from cancer treatments? This is a fantastic reminder that beauty on the INSIDE is what changes the world. I love this girl, she is truly an inspiration!!!!
I agree with #15, which is why I despise Angelina and her B.S....This girl looks cute with a shaved head tho but that's not really the point, after all.
YEAH! BALD IS BEAUTIFUL. i'm an ovarian cancer survivor and i decided to make my hair loss a positive part of my journey. it's vital that we send a new message to women about what defines beauty and empower them to define that for themselves on their own terms! come visit me at www.baldisbeautiful.org . . . peace.
Britney Spears might miss a lot more 'X Factor' auditions ... because she can! Simon Cowell gave Brit damn near free reign in order to sign the pop star to that $15 million deal -- but is it backfiring? We'll tell you what peeps on the set are saying.Plus, Chris Jericho's…
