The man is not here to defend himself. She should have accused him when he was alive. Now it looks lioke she is just trying to grab some headlines. She needs alot of counseling.

Well, she looks like crap and had sex with her father. If this isn't a screaming message to stay away from drugs, nothing is.

It's so sad how many people are questioning her intentions and whether if it is true or not. I see why there is so many sick perverted people like her father out there. Because unless it happens to you, you think it doesn't happen. That is why some many children don't tell because they are afraid that no one will believe them. I commend her for bringing this out in public. The more people who do this, the less likely this type of perversion will happen because they will be afraid of getting caught. UNLESS YOU HAVE BEEN IN SIMILAR SITUATIONS...KEEP YOUR DAMN MOUTH SHUT!!!!

The difference is that you communicate it with your therapist and family privately for the sake of healing, rather than splash it all over the news and in a book whereby you can make some money from the gross revelation.

I really don't believe her, but druggies have been known to do weird things, so if there is the slightest possibility it's true and not just a fantasy of hers, I still have no respect for the way she's chosen to deal with it. I also have my own take on-even if it did happen at his instigation once in a drugged haze-what on earth does she have to gain by saying another TEN CONSENSUAL YEARS followed?

Shut up, woman, go talk to your shrink, give us a break.

I don't understand why celebrities have to write these "tell all" books. Yes, tell it to your therapist, write it in a journal, but do not go public with it. No one really cares what she "consentually" did with her father for ten years - allegedly. There are many people who have suffered awful indignities in their lives, but they don't go writing books about it, and they don't stand on a soapbox in the park telling everyone. They go to therapy even if it means for the rest of their lives, they confront their abuser. They deal with it all privately and hopefully with a good support system of friends and family, those they can trust.

If she cared anything about her son - she never should have written this book. How is she going to explain this all to him? Is this how he is going to view life, that it's okay to abuse a family member? I see therapy for him for a real long time.

It seems she wrote the book for money. I hope no one buys it. Plenty of tell all books out there about druggies. Let's not glorify people with addictions of any sort. Many many people are fighting addictions every day. She was not a victim in that whole situation with her father. The drugs yes, but not a 10 year incestuous relationship with her father.

I want her more than ever now.

A 30 yr. cokehead junkie will do anything, say anything ... sell anyone down the river ... in order to get more money for their habit. This appears to be a classic example and doesn't seem out of character for her, unfortunately. Those who know her best think this is all BS. She should be ashamed of herself, but I'm sure she isn't.

Mac is a disgusting vile little pig. She is a liar and how in the hell can she even remember from moment to the next? She was always high as a kite! She needs the money to score more crack!

You ever think that it just might be possible a drug addict such as Mackenzie, could have baked so many brain cells and connections that her perception of reality is a little off. I would take anything she says with a grain of salt given her past.

I understand victims needing to reveal their secrets and deal with their demons. However, I don't understand why Mackenzie didn't do that with her own personal therapist instead of revealing it to the whole world and humiliating her entire family in the process. What was the point? It makes me suspicious of her motives.

She said this morning on the Today Show that it was only consensual for the last two years out of the ten. Months and even years would go by without any thing happening. Then once again she would find herself disheveled and her panties pulled down to her ankles upon wakening and realize that her father had molested her again. She would be so messed up that she didn't realize it was even happening. What has me scratching my head is she said yesterday that she told him no more when he wanted the relationship to become romantic and they could move to another country where they don't frown on this kind of behavior. He said That they would raise her kid as their own. But this morning she said she put a stop to it after he made her pregnant and paid for the abortion. Which one is it? I believe the incest happened, I just can't understand why she let it go on for so long without telling anybody. Was she still living at home from the age of 19 -29? Even when she was married? I guess drugs can make you do things that you normally wouldn't do. It breaks down all your moral barriers and makes you think in warped ways. Even if she did LOVE her dad.
