75. Not surprising we stopped the pledge of allegiance in school. There is less and less honor paid to the country everyone wants to enter. As it was written we are destroying this country from within. We worry about all these other countries as we fall apart. The dollar is falling; we send jobs to foreign countries then complain about their products. Yet we have citizens who canât remember the words to the national anthem DISCUSTING.

Yes, it is a big deal. When you agree to sing the song at a major televised event you know there will be millions watching. It also means that someone, somewhere thought you were professional enough to get it right. The is no excuse for srewing this up.
All of you low life losers out there need to realize something. While you're sitting on your ass doing nothing(but yourself) he is out writing music(not just for himself but for other singers as well), touring and making movies/tv shows. Yeah he screwed up but big fricking deal. He's not perfect and you're not even close so stfu. Get a job and prove you're soo much better.
First of all, it isn't just an "American tradition". It's OUR NATIONAL ANTHEM. What? You can't be bothered to remember the words that were written to represent the USA? Shame. It seems anyone younger than 35 doesn't have a patriotic bone in their body anymore.
Oh - and to the comment "like father, like son"? If actually were Paul McCartney's son (which he's not), at least he'd have a valid excuse to not know the words since he'd be living in England.
I weep for my future.
Jesse lol "What so proudly we hail'd at the twilight's last gleaming?" :) I bought all three of your CDs :)But yes we all make mistakes like inviting too many women to our house some nights getting drunk making a lot of noise with during our house party to disturb the neighbors getting them to call the cops on you as you were letting a lot of those girls spend the night doing God knows what with them.
GIVE THE KID A BREAK. IM SURE HE WAS A LITTLE NERVOUS. AND IM REALLY SURE YOU ALL HAVE NEVER MADE A MISTAKE. JESSE,S AN UPSTANDING KID. WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES. KEEP UR HEAD UP KID.
he is a human every human makes mistakes and is not perfect and he know that he messed up but he kept going he didnt stop which makes him strong in my eyes cuz if i was him i would have stopped singing so all u haters need to stop hating cuz u make mistakes to and i bet half of u wouldnt even have the guts to sing in front of that many people so he deserves credit!
It's not that he's HUMAN, and human's make mistakes. He's representing AMERICA when he (or any other celeb) sings THE NATIONAL ANTHEM. To screw it up shows a lack of pride, care, and honor to be allowed or called upon to sing it. This once again represents how the LEFT COAST only cares about their bank roll, personal "me" image, and fame. 1. Learn to sing it right. 2. Don't add words or change words (Aerosmith - Indy 500 blunder), or spit on the ground. 3. Don't let some pinko, shaved head, foreign female freak refuse to sing it either. Get it right, or don't accept the duty.
Jesse, you did a great job...⥠Take all the good comments to heart and with the breath of kindness blow the rest away..U R THE BESTâ¥â¥â¥
To be honest I didn't really notice the mistakes, but of course the media is going to shove it down our throats like its a big deal. I want some of you folks to go out there, and sing in front of millions of people. As a matter of fact, can some of ya'll even sing?
What was that....sure I'll wait.....
hey!!! HES ONLY A HUMAN... DONT MAKE FUN OF HIM..
DONT SAY THAT HIS A LOSER!! IF YOU ARE IN HIS PLACE AND SAY THAT TO YOU, WHAT WILL YOU FEEL??
THINK ABOUT IT RETARD!!! FIRST,... LOOK INTO YOUR SELF.. BEFORE YOU LOOK TO OTHERS!!! DAMN!
