Jeremy LondonThat $20,000 he allegeldy owes American Express is nothin' -- because "Mallrats" and "Party of Five" star Jeremy London could also be losing his house!

According to documents filed last month in L.A. County Superior court, the TV-turned-direct-to-DVD star defaulted on his mortgage -- and unless he pays $12,856.81, Countrywide is looking to foreclose.

Countrywide says if he doesn't cough up the cash, the home will go up for auction October 21.

6. First of all he is a doll and it is a shame for his situation , second Countrywide should be called CountryFRAUD.
Countrywide is a predominant factor in the economic collapse and one of the top 3 fraudulent lending companies out there , it is a wonder they are still in operation.
Instead of focusing on someone in foreclosure , how about focusing on the lending institutions themselves and all their fraudulent practices to enhance their bottom line...

9. Hang in there Jeremy , you are up against a very corrupt mortgage company , you may have some leverage.
Speak to your lawyer about the possibilites beginning with engaging you into a sub prime loan ( if you got a 90% LTV or higher ) Being a celebrity , you could make a lot of noise ...think Erin Brockavich vs. Hinckley. You would have so many behind you in your crusade against this P.O.S ( piece of chit ) company.

Countrywide, beleaguered by bad home loans, is selling itself to Bank of America for about $4 billion. It reported a loss of $422 million for the fourth quarter of 2007.

The company was forced in August to draw down its entire $11.5 billion credit line from a consortium of banks because it could no longer sell or borrow against home loans it had made. It has laid off about 11,000 employees since the summer.

15. If they're "looking" into foreclosing on the house it wouldn't go to auction on 10/21. It takes at least 4months to complete the
foreclosure in Ca, that is if the mortgage company is on the ball.
