The CA Medical Board had the opportunity to suspend the licenses of or monitor the practices of Drs. K & E for almost three years now. JB (who thinks he is the Chief Prosecutor of the World as well as the head of the Medical Board of CA) is showing spite and desperation when he twice sends his Deputy Attorney General E.A. Jones III to argue for either sanction against the Doctors. It is none of JB’s business but he persists inserting himself into the Court proceedings.

We recall how JB was verbally assaulted by reporters (and later Steve Sadow) when he stumbled and bumbled his way through the initial Press Conference/Campaign appearance announcing his tabloid charges against HKS/K/E. Despite JB telling Press members who questioned his motives, that he would now ‘leave it up to the Courts’, it was later revealed with leaked tape recordings that JB continued to actively media-whore the case with reporters. After the absurd 13 day preliminary hearing, JB is busy trying to repair the damage; too bad, no believable witnesses were talking the prosecution line, prosecution witnesses were supporting the defense position, no meaningful evidence, no motive and no such laws anyway.

JB never had a case. JB’s boy Agent Santiago was led by the same people to the exact same ‘sources’ as Cosby was; know nothings with axes to grind and substantial financial motives. Santiago’s testimony (the only person to support the prosecution line) is no different from Cosby’s false and defamatory book right down to an alleged interview with the ‘nannies’.

CA’s AG bringing preposterous charges and continuing to interfere with an ongoing Court case speaks to a dangerous and foul person serving his own ambitions over the peoples’ interests.

It’s also telling when the prosecutor yanks permission for the ‘exculpatory’ videos (TMZ originally had 3 videos up) yet continues to permit world-wide publication of the easily misconstrued one. The prosecution is blatantly trying to poison the jury pool against the accused; won’t strengthen their weak case though.

Can this type of crap be used against them in a court of law? The desperation from these individuals is by far unethical & exactly in step with everything else we have seen for the past almost 3 years. I am actually thankful they live in a more 'liberal' LA then some small town (or Houston!!) But seriously are there no ethical boundaries for them? Anyone who ignores these facts has no problem with illegal doings in order to hang HKS.

VA’s crew has only ever been after ‘the money’; it stands to reason that a constant theme is ‘the money’.

In the Cosby case, we saw unredacted depos of eye witnesses. One of them, Martino, described clearly that VA abandoned ANS at Betty Ford when she was destitute and bankrupt after the death of her husband and moribund with depression and substance abuse. That was back in 1995; years before HKS resurrected and greatly expanded ANS’s success. For VA to reappear after Daniel’s death and after a decade of no interest in either Daniel or ANS to speak on TV of JHM II related ‘money’ for Daniel for which she felt entitled to an accounting convinced most people of her motive. That motive only became more obvious after the tragic accidental death of ANS and enormous numbers of creepy uninvolved people sprang forth into public view grasping for ‘the money’.

Characteristic also is the continued lack of anything good to say about ANS and her closest people; all were dehumanized and victimized deliberately and maliciously in the media. For those of us appalled by the media-whoring influence on justice, the fundamental facts are still clear and unchanged by any immediate set-back such as the reluctant Judge Perry in LA simply passing defendants HKS/K/E unto trial when the key elements of the crime were testified against by live, eye witnesses in his Court; to say nothing of the undermining of the CA legislature’s intent in its crafting of Health and Safety Codes designed to regulate Health Care Providers, not lay citizens.

Why would anyone harp about DL’s Trust Fund? DL’s inheritance is under the all-powerful and watchful eye of a Probate Court in LA. VA has no standing in that matter and never even attempted to intervene in it when the opportunity presented in May 2007. The Executor and the co-trustees of ANS’s Estate/DL’s Trust were appointed and are doing their jobs to the satisfaction of the Court.

*Although I pretty much already knew it, to me it Really became obvious that all VA cared about was the big bucks was when she basically gave up any chance to be in her granddaughter’s life. Despite both Anna and Howard’s clear wishes that DL have nothing to do with Virgie, Larry was still willing to give her a chance. And she basically told Larry to shove it.

*I was flicking through the channels on TV last night and I quickly saw that its apparently legal in CA (but not federally) to buy and sell marijuana for medical reasons but its apparently illegal to pick up someone’s scripts for them (that’s something I do for one of my loved one at least once a month)- isn’t that one of the ‘charges’ against Howard? That he picked up Anna’s meds? All I could think about was how utterly ass backwards that was. (Don’t get me wrong, I have no problem with marijuana being used for medical reasons) That in the state of CA. its legal to buy and sell marijuana but its illegal for a loved one to pick up someone’s meds. Wtf?

I agree. It’s difficult to distinguish ‘news’ from ‘media-whoring’ anymore. Print media is no better; few ‘stories’ even attempt to provide the ‘who, what, where, when, why’ of an event. It’s interesting you mention Rupert Murdoch. Murdoch’s American holdings are well known. He also owns ‘The Sun’ and ‘The Times of London’; reading either of these important British publications is an eye-opener. ‘The Sun’ is a tabloid with razzle-dazzle headlines and provocative pictures, etc. but still manages to print ‘full’ stories. ‘The Times of London’ is far less flamboyant in its presentation and explores and follows-up on events carefully. Interestingly, FOXNews online often picks up stories from its British cousins, but only prints a short sensationalized version of those otherwise ‘full’ stories. It’s an American thing. ‘Hit and run’ ‘reporting’ of the ‘news’ has got to be the cheapest way to produce a TV show there is. After all, ‘real life’ provides the script and the ‘studio sets’ are pre-built and ‘free’.

There are no broad confidentiality agreements because when the depos were finally done with FS and G. Ben, it was immediately apparent that at least one of their lawyers was a ‘witness’/potential defendant.

HKS/Wood have not pin-pointed any possessions missing that correspond to ‘play things’ Riley may have enjoyed. In the docs there is just a general statement that ‘other’ items may have been taken inserted after a detailed list of the most important. Even with the materials FS gave to Opri (and in LB’s depo he speaks of Cosby and Opri cackling over them and Cosby saying she would ‘bury’ HKS with them) during the FL ‘burial hearing’, there are no specifics about what those docs may have been. We can assume I guess they represented at least some banking docs and contracts. Redactions of large parts of the depos suggest that those parts ‘speak’ about third-parties.

This type of behavior by the prosecution can be woven into a defense argument at various points. Imagine the interesting Voir Dire for potential members of a jury; the ‘testing’ of government witnesses for bias; and closing statements.

There are little constraints on the prosecutors beyond decency and common-sense until everyone is literally before a Judge. Only then can the evidentiary value of various things be tested and argued and the ‘use’ pre-trial of certain ‘evidence’ is brought into the discussion.

What is still unanswered is why CA decided to move forward with charges after the people who pushed for prosecution in CA had also tried the same in both FL and The Bahamas and were rebuffed by numerous authorities. HKS, Sadow, Wood & Barth have presented their ideas on the subject.

The prosecutors have staked their case on the ‘Clown video’. Their own witnesses testified against their case. The prosecutor is telling news outlets as it tosses out the video that the video ‘proves’ HKS knew and/or was responsible for ANS being ‘kept in a drugged state’. This is beyond desperation, it’s a lie.

Bitching is one thing. Constantly harping about well-known legal processes and circu_mstances is another. The SC case that is so often referred to as irrelevant by some is the case that for many of us is the heart and soul of the whole ANS saga; it’s how the whole media-whoring with heinous and false allegations took off. After significant delays caused by the rogue SB and VA’s people, the principals have finally coughed up the truth.

The problem with the ‘Clown video’ is that even what purports to be the ‘original’ may be a permanently altered version. Be that as it may, the video does not support the prosecutors’ wild notions as evidenced by the two clips now pulled from TMZ.

Wood has always stated that ‘legitimate members of known news agencies’ are not subject to his attention; he has instead hunted down the nefarious ring-leaders. The theory is that if you give media-whores enough rope … it eventually plays out to your advantage. In the case of the ‘Clown video’ it is coming from the prosecutors directly (and with comment from them as well) so you could hardly make a case that a ‘news’ agency was anything other than an ‘innocent’ conduit – the court of public opinion may differ in its view.

It shows me the AG of CA will promote whatever he thinks will get him votes. There may be many pot smokers in CA but there are certainly far more average people who care for their loved ones by visiting Doctors with them, calling their Doctors on their behalf, picking up and ‘administering’ their drugs to them. The ‘political’ AG has dangerously inserted his ambitions into the heart of most citizens of CA’s daily experience with Health Care providers.

I never supported brickhead. I said he had the right to know if the child was his, but I never bought his act. Decent, non druggies don't hang around and impregnate drug addicts to get famous. I feel bad for DL, she got shortchanged in the parent department.
