According to Jon's lawyer, Kate is "like the old lady who lived in a shoe" ... but really lives in a glass house or something.
Good luck following the logic.

His public behaviour has been disgraceful. I don't care what the marriage was like behind closed doors. Family relations can be complex. I know a few lovely people half estranged from family members. Not the norm but don't judge.
Jon had all the sympathy initially...he blew it and revealed his true colors. The fun yet irresponsible parent. What child wants to hear about their parents multiple affairs in the tabloids.
All of you who keep going on and on about how Kate needs to do the right thing and keep her children out of the media-when is the last time you've seen her in public with them? However, Jon has paraded them left and right, even this past weekend as a matter of fact.
Those of you posting as "mothers" and "concerned moms" defending Jon astound and sicken me. What you are basically saying is if the father of your children cheated on you, openly drank alcohol and referenced drugs, insulted you in front of them, and then made snide remarks about them, you'd support that? You are some kind of scary freaks out there.
And the way some of you repeatedly troll this site, commenting over and over again to insult Kate, you are some seriously disturbed stalkers.
Oh, boo, hoo! Jon is trying to say Kate is the one trying to bring down the family? What a joke! This is his entertainment attorney, not his divorce atty. Why is he even talking? Sorry, Jon stole the money from the acct. He had to put it back. Apparently, Kate satisfied the judge and that is all that matters!
Jon and Heller are laughable at this point.
Get a PA attorney and don't have press conferences with ET.
Release a paper statement or letter like Kate's classy lawyers.
I wish Kate the best. I wish Jon no ill will but his recent behavior and lack of reasoning and judgement as well as apparent hotheadedness must have been difficult to deal with.
kathleen - JON needs to go far away. Forever.
Deplorable treatment of his family and soon to be ex wife, stating he despises her etc. HE SLEEPS WITH PEOPLE UNDER HER NOSE and with the kids in the house.
I won't even go on about HIS about gruesome tooth veneers, HAIR PLUGS AND SPARE TIRE and partying in Vegas/LA.
Good Lord...what kind of idiot lawyer is this guy...oh yeah...Jon's lawyer...the same one that allowed his client to lie to the public in regards to him "not" taking out the 180,000...Instead of idiotic damage control statements...shouldn't he be advising his client in showing some decorum?? Did he pitch in to buy the shovel that Jon uses to keep digging those holes he digs...Jump in, sir...There should be enough room for you and Jon now...You should both shake Mr.Heenes hand for his publicity stunt and the balloon boy...It took you out of the running for worse dad of the year...you certainly lost for the hubby part!
Heller & Jon need really must think everyone is stupid. The fact that Kate is in California for long established speaking engagements & her absence didn't seem to bother the court any, probably because it wasn't necessary. Heller, I think, is just posturing for the media. I hope I'm wrong, but I think on some warped level, Jon seems to be mad that Kate isn't acting grateful that he returned the money, at the very last minute, that he looted and lied about without the court having to put him in jail for contempt. I think the fact that she is not falling apart at the seams because he's not there and that she is getting much higher level engagements than he is is driving him nuts
socalgal # 68-You say Kate isn't a speaker at the Women's Conference. Then why is she listed on the Speakers page for the Women's Conference website http://www.californiawomen.org/speakers?
Scroll down. She's listed alphabetically-right between Jane Goodall, DBE, and Bob Greene.
V # 58-I wish TMZ had a reply function. I hope you find this:
>>18 Pa.C.S.A. § 2524. Penalty for unauthorized practice of law
(a) General rule.--Except as provided in subsection (b), any person, including, but not limited to, a paralegal or legal assistant, who within this Commonwealth shall practice law, or who shall hold himself out to the public as being entitled to practice law, or use or advertise the title of lawyer, attorney at law, attorney and counselor at law, counselor, or the equivalent in any language, in such a manner as to convey the impression that he is a practitioner of the law of any jurisdiction, without being an attorney at law or a corporation complying with 15 Pa.C.S. Ch. 29 (relating to professional corporations), commits a misdemeanor of the third degree upon a first violation. A second or subsequent violation of this subsection constitutes a misdemeanor of the first degree.
(b) Practice by associations.--
(1) An association does not violate subsection (a) if it provides legal services only through officers, employees or agents who are duly admitted to practice law. The association may employ persons not admitted to practice law, but those persons shall not render any legal services rendered or to be rendered by the association.
(2) This subsection shall not be interpreted to preclude the use of clerks, secretaries, administrators, bookkeepers, technicians and other assistants who are not usually and ordinarily considered by law, custom and practice to be rendering legal services nor to preclude the use of any other person who performs all his employment under the direct supervision and control of a person duly admitted to practice law. A person shall not, under the guise of employment, render legal services unless duly admitted to practice law.
(3) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, an association may charge for the legal services of its officers, employees and agents, may collect those charges and may compensate those who render the professional services.
(c) Injunction.--In addition to criminal prosecution, unauthorized practice of law may be enjoined in any county court of common pleas having personal jurisdiction over the defendant. The party obtaining such an injunction may be awarded costs and expenses incurred, including reasonable attorney fees, against the enjoined party. A violation of subsection (a) is also a violation of the act of December 17, 1968 (P.L. 1224, No. 387), [FN1] known as the Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law.

I shouldn't post this late. The citation for the provisions on the penalty for the unauthorized practice of law in PA is 42 Pa.C.S.A. Section 2524. Title 18 is the Crimes Code which is where my mind went because the unauthorized practice of law provisions provide for criminal penalties, but the provisions are in Title 42 which is Judiciary and Judicial Procedure. I didn't want to misdirect anyone.
I've got a rhyme! HUMPTY DUMPTY JON SAT ON THE WALL, HUMPTY DUMPTY JON TOOK A BIG FALL AND BROKE INTO SO MANY PIECES HE COULDN'T BE PUT BACK TOGETHER AGAIN.
THANK HEAVEN'S THEN CAN HE GO AWAY FINALLY?
Why do people even believe anything that comes out of Jon's or his "criminal" lawyerâs mouth. I am sure Jon knew Kate would not be there because he would have had to been with the kids if she were out of town. So the whole thing is a media ploy. The most important thing is that it was probably stipulated weeks ago that she did not have to be there. Jon had to because his lawyer is not licensed to practice in PA. It's totally disgusting that Jon even allowed his so called lawyer to make that statement, and to laugh at it while he was. If you come to have a resolution as stated, you don't them start flinging mud.
Did Jon forget that the "little old lady who lives in a shoe, had so many kids she didnât know what to do" Jon those are your kids too! Maybe she would know what to do if she had some help from that sprem doner-lackey of a father.
Lil Wayne does a dance on Old Glory for a new music video! Lots of people are pissed he chose to disrespect the U.S. Flag ... while others think he's justified. Will the protest hit Weezy where it hurts most -- the wallet?Plus, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's bundle of joy…
