MJ's Last Recording - Subject of Creditor's Claim

11/2/2009 3:30 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

We've now learned the basis for the latest creditor's claim against Michael Jackson's estate -- and it could be a goldmine.

As we first reported, Audio 4 Video Digital (A4V Digital, Inc.), filed a creditor's claim for $736,502.59. Sources connected with A4V tell TMZ that Jackson had been recording songs shortly before he died and A4V was working on the music at the time of his death.

An A4V source says the company is a co-owner -- along with the estate -- of the copyright for the sound recordings. This could represent the last work of Michael Jackson -- so good, bad or ugly, it could be the royal jackpot.

We're also told A4V was working with Jackson for years before his death and has a stockpile of recordings that have never been released.

I guess his performance in TII earned him the name Michael Jackson back, huh? And maybe a nice photo now and then.

It is sad that all these people are making claims, but if they are owed money, they should get paid. Just because it all belongs to MJ's kids now does not mean creditors should get shafted.

It was MJ's responsibility to make sure his finances were OK. If he did not, why should others take the hit?

In the end, MJ was responsible both for his money problems and for his drug usage. Breaks my heart, but that is the truth.

All of this does not take away from the gigantic talent he was. Proof is in the movie. He could have come back, and with a bang, if only he hadn't invited that idiot Murray to put a needle in his arm.

So what?! They will get sound and engineering credit. Did they write, produce, compose or even sing on the songs, Probaby not. So they will get their sliver of a slice of whatever pie this turns into. They better look and see that the song "This Is It" is not the goldmine Paul Anka thought it would be. Stop acting like all these creditors will dwindle MJ's estate's pot of gold. Like most creditors they will settle for much less than what they asked for.

Jacko Was A Wacko

Anyone dumb enough to believe that Wacko Jacko meant it when he said "I love you" or "I love you more" to people he didn't even know must also believe that time worn phrase...THE CHECK IS IN THE MAIL.

Wow. This along with some of those unreleased Bryan Loren recordings from Dangerous could be quite special. For those who haven't seen it, there is a blog about Michael and the unreleased Dangerous track 'Work That Body' from Loren. Artist, and writer/producer of this track. He's incredible. He also wrote and produced a lot of the other unreleased Michael tracks for Dangerous that are floating around. As well, he wrote and produced 'Do The Bartman' for The Simpsons. Michael sings backup with him on that. I love that track. There is also an unreleased track he wrote and produced by Janet from Rhythm Nation called 'Work'. Loren is currently working on a solo project that should be great! His work is excellent. He's cute too. Check it out: http://www.myspace.com/bloren2

It is possible that this story is correct. MJ didn't have a lot of money so maybe he gave them 50% ownership if the songs to pay for the studio time????

MJ always mortgaged his future I do believe this could be true

It appears that MJ was doing his own private work behind AEG's back. Didn't he do some work with Dome project.AEG people had no knowledge of it until the Dome people came out. According to MJJ timeline he did a full dress up for his project.

That is so true.
I laugh every time I see someone who believe the "I love you more" bull.
These people are so gullible.
The scary part is that most are parents and some are even grandparents.
