Carrie Prejean -- Softcore Hypocrite?

11/9/2009 11:27 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Carrie PrejeanCarrie Prejean is shifting the blame for those topless modeling photos she took back in the day -- now she claims our "culture" is the real problem ... not just "the wind."

In her new "tell-all" book, Carrie dedicates an entire passage to bitch about "pornography," writing:

"Unfortunately, pornography has become mainstreamed -- it rushes at us through big screens, portable screens; soft-core porn is on mainstream TV cable stations, hard-core porn is just a mouse click away on the internet, and the envelope of what seems acceptable seems to get pushed farther and farther as more and more people are exposed to this material.

The result is that girls grow up in a culture where it is hard to have an innocent, healthy, normal view of themselves, how they should behave, how they should act, and how they should dress."

Carrie then addresses the topless pics directly, and states, "Our bodies are temples of the Lord. We should earn respect and admiration for our hearts, not for showing skin to look sexy ... I have since learned that your outer beauty can only get you so far in life."

If our bodies are 'temples of the lord' as you so plainly put, why do you keep ravaging yours with plastic surgery and anorexia? I'm thinking The Lord is not pleased. :P

"If one is, however, to take from the Bible that homosexuality is a sin (which is an Old Testament reading, I believe from Leviticus)..."

Actually, Paul said something interesting about this in Romans 1:27. He said that they receive "in themselves the recompense of their error which was fit". Calling this sin is not very useful, but it does make sense that if you put the flesh in God's place, you will eventually perish. But the same is probably true for people that are obsessed with heterosexual sex. And in Romans 2:1 Paul said that we should not condemn this behavior because we would then be essentially the same as people that condone it. The Bible is very subtle if you read it carefully.

*STANDS UP AND APPLAUDS BRIANA* YOU, LADY, ROCK! Finally an educated poster who actually KNOWS what she's talking about!

The problem is not that she posed topless, or masturbated while being filmed, or had her breasts enhanced. The problem is she tried to impress everyone with her holier than thou attitude.

You pathetic liberal douchbags are a sickening joke!!!
1.)She was young and naive
2.)She is NOT making up excuses and embracing her screw up,in fact she is contrite! You dirty maggot liberals would see nothing wrong with doing this and in fact would probably feel no shame!!
3.)Just cause of what she did, does not make Christianity any less relevant! It is between her and God just like whatever you do is between you and God.What she did was very stupid and SHE ACKNOWLEDGES IT,dumb ass liberals!!!!
Now why don't the liberal's "class pets"(Homos)admit that they are depraved, perverted, deviant and hateful themselves for attacking a person that is smart enough to understand the Birds and the Bees!

God Bless Carrie Prejean and her imperfections(Which we all have!!!)

Hpyocrite or not (most hollywood types & politicians are all hypocrites, including TMZ writers, so pot quit calling the kettle black.)she is right about our culture & how it has gotten over sex, young people have no problem these days taking a pic of themselves naked & sending it out on their phone or posting it on their web page for all to see. They even have sex or oral sex in public places, I have seen this in my small hometown on more than one occasion.

I could careless about what Carrie thinks about Gay marriage. Her views on marriage, don't effect me at all, but when someone advocates the taking away of rights from American citizens as Carrie does, then that is crossing the line.

Abraham Lincoln once said. We all deserve the same rights and freedoms as anyone else, anyone choosing to take such freedoms, should have no freedoms at all.

Saddam threatened the rights of American citizens and we went to WAR, people like Carrie, NOM and various Christian churches do the same and we do nothing? Shameful. Look at what the Mormons did in California! Anyone attempting to remove rights from Americans should be in PRISON!

Reminds me of when the Christians in Nazi Germany once said. "It's okay because they're JEWS, as the Christians supported Hitler, then in America, the Christians said "It's okay because they're BLACK, as they supported SLAVERY, even had the gull to use their bibles to do so.

Today, these evil people are at it again... today the Christians say "It's okay because they're GAY" as they attempt to take rights away from these Americans. Shameful.

It was not okay in Nazi Germany and it surely is not okay in the United States of America in the 1960's and impossible to think such would exist in 2009

Here's a quick lesson for those of you who obviously don't know your Bible. Jesus came so that there could be abundant life. With his death, he covered sin. Past, present and future. He is no respecter of sin. He sees murder, the same as adultery, the same as homosexuality. The good news: if you've accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior ALL SIN is forgiven. Past, present and future. We are put on this Earth to love people, no matter where they're at. it's time for all of us to quit passing judgment on everyone we come into contact with, and just love them where they're at, that includes so-called hypocrites like Carrie, and homosexuals.

Hypocrite? BS.

I don't recall you TMZ folks and others like you being in any hurry to chop up the many others who have had sex tapes turn up.

You are ASSUMING that a sex tape is immoral by Christian standards. You are WRONG. Period. There is nothing contrary to family values and all the rest making a sex tape. A Christian married couple who make one and get a kick out of it are enhancing their sex life, and that's more than OK; it is good. Sure, you might be able to find plenty of Christians who don't believe that. They are wrong, simply wrong.

The sex tape is exactly as right, or as wrong, as the sexual relationship within which it was made. That's the real issue. She was not married to her partner. Christian dogma says that's not right.

So, I suppose all you TMZ folks are going to jump on that? When you're ready to jump on everyone else who hasn't stayed virginal until marriage, you'll have the right. Not until then.

If you are half honest with yourselves you'll admit that you do not have moral objections to her pictures or her tape. You don't like what she stands for, and these are convenient weapons to wield against her.

You pretend to criticize her morals, and you use, not Christianity, but a popular and mistaken stereotype of it. You perfectly well accept the same behavior in others. God doesn't have one code of conduct for Christians and a different one for everyone else.

That is hypocrisy.

Know what else is in, bogus funny?

Every one of you shouting, Go away, Carrie. You're all hypocrites.

If you were honest when you say that, you'd do the normal thing you do for people you want to go away: ignore them. If she really is that uninteresting, and nobody paid attention, she'd fade from view quickly.

But no. You're here, feeding the significance and power of her presence by your attention to it.

If she didn't matter, you'd ignore her. You don't. She matters. To you.

There's a question I've asked Carrie-bashers all over the place. Haven't got anyone with the guts and the smarts to respond yet.

Over and over, it is said that her statement that marriage should be between a man and a woman is "hate."

However, apparently, the following quote is not:

"Marriage is the union between a man and a woman. Now for me, as a Christian, it is also a sacred union. God is in the mix."

So far nobody has attempted to explain why Carrie's statement is "hate" while the second one, the one I quote, isn't.

They are nearly identical, except the second one refers explicitly to Christianity as its foundation, which Carrie's did not.

Also, unlike the second speaker, just before her controversial statement Carrie praised America as a place where there is the possibility to choose same-sex marriage. Her critics seem to have some very selective amnesia about that.

If you know who said this second quote, just try to explain why hers is hateful and the other is not. If you don't, and nobody else posts the identity of the person I'm quoting, I'll do so.

From one of the TMZ hate pages.

">The reason the tape became such a smoking gun -- under Pageant rules, all contestants signed forms that gave assurance they had no nude videos or pictures in their past."

None to sell or distribute. What she does in her private life is her own business. It should not be any problem for a court of law to strike down any expectation that the pageant rule could be applied to Prejean's video.
