Lamar Odom -- Another Woman Tries Cashing In

Money can buy a lot of things -- a reality TV wedding, for example -- but it couldn't get Lamar Odom off the hook for a car accident he was involved in back in 2007.

Lamar Odom

Lamar offered the victim in the crash a settlement, but it wasn't to her liking-- so she filed a lawsuit last week, almost two years to the day of the accident.

celeb car crashesThe woman, 37, claims she is "disabled from her normal duties and will be so disabled in the future." Oh, and her '97 Geo Prizm was totaled.

She is seeking unspecified damages.

1. It's pretty low, but I'd probably stoop to that level too if someone rich hit me.

3. LOL. If you were poor she'd probably be training to run the marathon in Boston. Funny how money can make one go disabled at the drop of a hat.

4. BAG

A bag (also known as a sack) is a non-rigid mostly semi-rigid container, made of paper, cloth, plastic, leather, or some other flexible material.

A bag is used for packaging and/or carrying items. For the latter a bag may have one or two handles; a shoulder bag has a strap to carry it on the shoulder (the bag is either carried on the side of the shoulder carrying it, or the other side). A rucksack has straps to carry it on the back. There is also be a string bag, with two strings which go over the shoulder and can be used as the fastening as well.

A bag may be closable by a zipper, snap fastener, etc., or simply by folding (e.g. in the case of a paper bag). Sometimes a money bag or travel bag has a lock. Sachets may be fabric bags that are filled with pot pourri and tied off with ribbons.

A bag may or may not be disposable; however, even a disposable bag can often be used many times, for economic and environmental reasons. On the other hand, there may be logistic or hygienic reasons to use a bag only once. For example, a garbage bag is often disposed of with its content. A bag for packaging a disposable product is often disposed of when it is empty.

An empty bag may or may not be very light and foldable to a small size. If it is, this is convenient for carrying it to the place where it is needed, such as a shop, and for storage of empty bags. Bags vary from small ones, like purses (e.g. as an alternative to putting small objects in pockets of clothing) to large ones for use in traveling like a suitcase.

12. APPARENTLY none of you ahead of me have ever been in a WRECK. LEARN UP:

When an injury related accident leaves you with INJURY, Guess what?? it takes AT LEAST 2 YRS FOR THE EFFECTS to even START to set in: WHIPLASH/ORTHEPEDIC/BROKEN BONES...NEXT COMES THE AFTERMATH OF INJURY AND/OR SURGERY: ARTHRITIS,STIFFNESS,SCAR TISSUE....PAIN.

AND 2 YRS HAPPEN TO BE CALIFORNIA'S STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS ON ANY CLAIMS. IF HE WAS AT FAULT, HE IS RESPONSIBLE. GREED HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. NO AMOUNT OF MONEY PAYS OFF FOR AN INJURY THAT ALTERS YOUR LIFE/LIFESTYLE. WHAT PRICE WOULD YOU PUT ON A FACIAL SCAR OR DISABLED LIMB?? WALK WITH A LIMP?? HURTS TO WALK? LIFT?

THE FACT THAT HE HIT HER AND HAS ALOT OF MONEY IS FORTUNATE, I WAS HIT BY A POOR DRUNKEN LOSER WITHOUT INSURANCE... SOMEONE WHO DISREPECTS OTHERS, THE LAW, AND COSTS THE REST OF US TO PAY MORE FOR THEIR INSURANCE & TAX RELATED MEDICAL COST TO THE DRUNK WHO DIDNT HAVE ANY. BITEME.

13. If he was smart (highly doubtful). He would've had a private eye watching her for the last two years to see how"disabled she really is, if the taped evidence backs up the claim, then pay out, but if she's in the backyard doing somersaults with the children, haul her off to jail for perjury.

She was driving a GEO prism for god's sake, so he should've bought her another prism, she doesn't deserve a Mercedes unless he was drunk.

14. Sorry uhHuh but I've got to disagree with you on this one. I know someone that was in a vehicle and hit broad side the vehicle she was in rolled and they were able to have everything including a replacement vehicle etc within a year's time. This included a plan for future medical expenses related to the accident.

In this case I think it's all rather convenient that the case was filed after he signed such a large contract and it was all over the news and tabloids.
