The Final Years of Michael Jackson - Unmasked by Ian Halperin
Page 223
On June 21, 2009, Jackson told my top contact in his camp that he wanted to die. He said that he didn't have what it would take to perform anymore because he had lost his voice and dance move. "It's not working out," Jackson told my longtime source. "I'm better off dead. I don't have anywhere left to turn. I'm done."
During the last week of his life, Jackson flew in a Houston based cardiologist, who had treated him a number of times in Las Vegas, but wasn't his regular doctor. The doctor, Conrad Murray, was with Jackson at the end. It was believed that Murray had given Jackson a painkiller injection that contributed to his death, according to media reports that surfaced soon after. However, the doctor claimed that he had found Jackson on the floor unconscious and that he did not give him any injections. Less than twenty-four hours after Jackson was pronounced dead, his family and advisers were demanding an independent autopsy and an investigation into Murray's role. Many aides believe Dr.Murray was used as a scapegoat. "It's easy to try to pin the blame on this one doctor who only knew Michael for a week," said one furious member of Jackson's entourage. "But this stuff had been going on for years. Let's look at all the other doctors who wrote him prescriptions and fed his drug habit, not to mention the vultures who were content to keep him high while they spent his money and pressured him to make more. That's who should be the focus of the investigation. It's all a big smoke screen.
Now in death his family will try to get their own independent autopsy report and pay big bucks to make sure that the real condition of Michael is covered up. I guarantee you we'll never find out a fraction of how sick Michael really was. That's how the Jackson's operated. They're spin doctor masters.
Everyone who knew Michael in his final years knows very well that Michael was sick and could die at any moment. He had so many complications with his health.

Muscles- This is wrong on so many levels.
To #140 Trust the Trust - Yeah, you made a good point. This is why people set up trust. I understand this, I used to work in a financial institution. I heard about this trust thing.
I thought I read that the DA is looking into other pharmacies and doctors. Dont worry, they know what they are doing, probably will read about it in Dec/Jan. Some times it takes time to wrap things up. Enablers need to worry.
to #448 Anonymous - I thought I read in the paper in Calgary that despite speculation, the estates has no desire to sell the catalogue as it would be worth more for the kids in the future. Perhaps, we should be patient. Give them time to sort things out. Its like a full time job to administer his estates. I come from a family with some as lawyers, I understand that to administer someone estates, it could be quite complicated, especially celebrities. Be patient, I'm sure we will read about it in the paper. Be patient. Things will work themselves out.
Hypocrite--
I also had initially thought that TMZ ROCKS had stated that he/she worked with addicts. It took several readings until I realized it was a different poster that had said that. I can't find the post right now, but I *think* it was tone that had said that. If it was not you tone I apologize in advance. But I do know for sure that it was not TMZ ROCKS that said it.
Gavin Arvizo, aka Anton Jackson, needs to tell the truth. Read his
trial transcript, and those of Star (now David Jackson), Davellin,
his lunatic mother Janet, Debbie Rowe, etc., at
http://deargavinarvizo.com.
This guy's got such a huge ego he's bound to google himself
constantly, and the more comments there are the faster it will climb
to the top of the rank so he can see it. PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT. I
don't even care if you click on the sponsor links. It's all about
getting the message out. Seriously.
It's too late for Michael to hear him recant, but it's not too late
to let his legacy stand unblemished. And that's what it's all about,
period.

Twilightmom- It was TMZ that stated he/she worked with addicts. There was actually an 8 year period in my career where AAA referred their recovering alcoholics to our dental office for full mouth rehabilitation back in the 90's. No, I don't claim to work with addicts. In a dental practice of 5,000 patients there are 2 or 3 patients who are addicted to pain medication which we do not contribute to their problem by prescribing more.
I just read an amazing article about Michael Jackson in the Icon section at: www.ebmpublishing.com. The article explained what he did for Pop culture. He was an incredible artist with enormous talent. He will be greatly missed!
#491 Kendel Weddington - agree with what you said. Its a great loss, such a showman. This is why I'm so mad. he should not have died. The coroner said that he's got a strong heart, normal kidney & liver. While he had lung inflamation, but that could be due to flu or a viral infection. I used to have that. Hey, did anyone think he might have caught a bit of the H1N1 virus, compounded by the profofol & whatever other drugs he received, and then died. What a great loss!! Saw the film This is it again last night for the 13th time, still choked with emotions. My 18 yr old nephew, 1st yr college, enjoyed it. he knows all the songs.
to #492 Will is fake - I'm sure the judge must have looked at the complaint, remember he's a SUPERIOR COURT JUDGE. We dont know a lot, we only know what we read from the newspapers and tabloids. Perhaps, in 2003, whatever they did has something to do with the other half of the ATV catalogue owned by sony. 2003 was the time of the second false accusations, so the 2 individuals involved needed to do something to protect the catalogue. Anyways, whatever, the judge knows what he's doing. I dont buy this fake will thing, this is very serious stuff. People are not that silly!
To #469 Billie Jean jackson - such a detailed article. Thanks for posting it. You seemed to know so much. R u the BJJ that waited outside Neverland's gate that I read about on this website. Wow, you are a FAN. I thought I'm MJ's #1 fan. I've never met him, too bad I'll never be able to see him live again. Thanks for the article. Very interesting. So, I hope the estates are in good hands.
Britney Spears might miss a lot more 'X Factor' auditions ... because she can! Simon Cowell gave Brit damn near free reign in order to sign the pop star to that $15 million deal -- but is it backfiring? We'll tell you what peeps on the set are saying.Plus, Chris Jericho's…
