In an interview with ABC's Robin Roberts, Janet also said she doesn't know if Murray was the only doctor hooking Michael up with drugs -- but added "the truth always prevails."

# 85 Sheila, Nov 25 is the 5th month anniversary, as far as I know. I have wondered about that too.
LAPD will act when they are ready. Haste makes waste. I hope the DA doesn't over try the case, like they did with OJ.
I have a brother and sister a couple miles away. It has never crossed my mind to ask them about addiction. I have known of them both taking narcotics for medical procedures. I have been ob Oxycotin for 5 years, they both know it, for cronic pain, they have never asked me about it. So why is everyone under the impression that,1. Michael was addicted to anything. 2. His family could do anything about it? I have had a lot of narcotics in my home over the last few years, it doesn't mean a thing. They were prescribed by my Dr.s. Does this mean I am addicted?? Not at all. I had 3 surgeries last year, got off the meds for a month before each one, no adverse effect. As long as they work, I will take them.
Michael said 15 years ago he had a problem, but I haven't seen any evidence of addiction since. Have you? He hired this quack to help him sleep, and clearly outside of this quacks expertise. He gave him meds. How do we know "Michael begged for them" or Michael knew what he was being given? I didn't hear Michael say anything.
Dr. Neil Ratner traveled with Michael over the years. Dr. Ratner is an anesthesiologist, He gave him meds to take him down and back up. He had some legal trouble as of late, and maybe couldn't travel with Michael. I sure would like to see an interview with him. BUT, he was still a friend of Michael's. He ain't talking. Hmm, a real friend maybe.
Michael was naive, under educated about insomnia. Needed "one" of his many Dr.s to send him to a sleep clinic to get a handle on it. He may have had that, but if you know anything about Michael Jackson, Michael did what Michael wanted to do. PLAIN AND SIMPLE.
I've been given Propofol during a recent surgery. When they first administer it to you, you feel like you can't breathe and paralyzed. All I could do was give in and take it because I needed the surgery. When I woke up, I feel weak and in pain. For the next four days, I felt sick to my stomach every morning I woke up and that was from the Propofol.....If MJ had a sleep disorder, he could have gone to the best doctor in the country. Also, Propofol does not give you REM Sleep. You wake up exhausted....he wasn't taking it to sleep. He was addicted to it. End of story. It makes you feel gross. There was something really wrong for him to want this drug....
95. To the people criticising Janet and the rest of the Jackson family, think about this.
If you had a brother/son/uncle who you hardly ever saw, would you know what he did in the evenings to get himself to sleep? If he didn't tell you then you probably wouldn't, so don't criticise the Jacksons for not getting MJ into rehab. Perhaps they didn't know anything. Perhaps previous stories that they were being kept away from MJ are true. There are lots of possibilities, but jumping on them without knowing what you're talking about is ridiculous.
Also, we don't know for a fact that MJ knew what he was using was dangerous. We do know that he had been told by previous doctors that it was fine, so maybe he though it was safe even if others had told him it wasn't. He paid doctors to look after him and he may have taken their advice a little too easily.
Or on the other hand, he may have known and gambled anyway. The point is we just don't know and so it's pointless idiots coming on here or any other site stating opinion, conjecture, or hypothesis as fact.

Nurse Lee warned MJ it was dangerous when he BEGGED her to get it for him. He knew the risks.....he played russian roulette and he lost....
#25- I assure you that Marcia Cross did not screw up the OJ trial, seeing as how she is an actress on Desperate Housewives. Marcia Clark, on the other hand....
I have a life thank you. So there is no need to attack me for my opion.
Do you really think that all those thousands of people who came out to pay tribute will let that so called dr walk away with out paying some sort of punishment? I don't.
And rather you believe it or not many people feel they know MJ thru his music and dance. You don't have to personally know someone to feel a connection to them.
There are many crazy people out there and I believe if he walks someone will do him in.

93. "An Uproar?" ridiculous. For someone no one knew personally? For God's sake, GET A LIFE.....
75. And if this happens I think there would an up roar like never before and it would not surprise me if someone took matters into their own hands if you get my drift.
======
10. I can't wait to see how all you "fans" react when this man is either not charged or aquitted of murder. They don't have a case.

OK, yes the doctor supplied the drugs - and did harm rather than good - but why do so many contiune to enable Michael after his death. He was the addicted. He chose to do the drugs. Michael bears a lot of the responsibility. Doesn't he?
MICHAEL JACKSON OR ANYONE WOULD NOT BE WORTH GOING TO JAIL OVER...AND FOR ANYONE TO SUGGEST THIS WOULD HAPPEN IS ALMOST WISHING IT TO HAPPEN...IT IS DISGUSTING...WE ALL DIE....LIFE GOES ON.......GET A LIFE

I agree. And if he goes to prison they would do well to put him in his own cell, because I know Michael has a lot of fans in prison as well who have nothing to lose and everything (in terms of prison cred) to gain by killing him. If I were Dr. Murray and was free, I would move to a poor country that doesn't have television or radio or Internet where he could be recognized, because no place on earth will be safe for him.
I think some of you are clearly missing the point. First of all, the autopsy showed no evidence that he was a bad addict, his health was overall positive, and if you watch "This Is It" and his extreme attention to detail even everyone else in the room couldn't here or feel, it's obvious he wasn't heavily using during those rehearsals, especially anesthetics or things that made him tired and he was completely alert and on top of every aspect of the production. The media has largely hyped the concept of him being a drug addict, though undoubtedly he did have a painkiller addiction at one time in the past and obviously had to use anesthetics during surgeries. Even if he did have a drug problem, that doesn't mean it's ok for a licensed professional to be administering a drug that shouldn't even be given outside of a hospital setting nonetheless to someone who didn't need it, and on top of that, worse yet if he knew he had a problem. Any anesthetic needs to be administered under the direct care and supervision of someone who is completely vigilant and knowledgeable about doses and Dr. Murray was a cardiologist, not an anesthesiologist. He was also in another room talking on the phone while his patient died. No doctor should ever leave the room when giving a powerful anesthetic. I honestly feel if this was any other person, a lot of the comments here would be completely different. Michael Jackson was the victim of medical malpractice whether you want to hear it or not, and I absolutely agree this man and all the other parasites prescribing unnecessary drugs to celebrities need their licenses revoked.
Evan Chandler being dead is too good to be true. I will wait for AP confirmation.
MJ used propofol 10 years ago with no problems. He never believed it was dangerous. People do things that harm their health every day because they think nothing will ever happen to him. Like going outdoors during a lightening storm or driving after drinking etc. It is called denial.
LET'S GO TO THE REAL SOURCE - MJ'S DRUG PROBLEMS STARTED WITH ONE PERSON AND THAT'S MJ!! WHY DIDNT HE OR ANYONE ELSE WHO CARED GET HIM INTO REHAB IN THE FIRST PLACE? IF SO, HE WOULD NEVER HAVE MET DR MURRAY. CHICKEN ADN THE EGG THEORY. SURE, MURRAY VIOLATED HIS MEDICAL LICENSE VIA MALPRACTICE AND SHUD BE PUNISHED FOR THAT BUT THE KEY ACCOUNTABILITY LIES WITH MJ WHO WAS A DRUG ADDICT!!!!! ANYTHING ELSE IS SCAPEGOAT THEORIES.

You are correct when you say it would not be worth it. I disagree that saying this would happen is like wishing it to happen. No, I think that Michael has enough TRULY CRAZY fans who just might do something. Look at the celebrities in Hollywood, always getting restraining orders from stalkers who "love" them. Why would it not be the same for someone who took the life of someone a "stalker" held in high regard? They might see it as a type of "honor killing". There are those of us who are "crazy" about Michael who would never do such a thing, and then there are those who was just plain "crazy". Get it?
The only person responsible for the death of Michael Jackson is Michael Jackson. If Janet was such a good doting sister, she would not have allowed him to this to himself for years and make excuses for him. If gonna blame Conrad then his entire family and anyone associated with him for the past 5 years should also be held accountable.
HE DID INJECT DRUGS INTO YOUR BROTHER BUT HE WAS A DRUG ADDICT WHETHER YOU WANT TO ADMIT IT OR NOT. AND DRUG ADDICTS WILL GET THEIR FIX ONE WAY OR ANOTHER. IF IT WASN'T THIS DOCTOR IT WOULD HAVE BEEN ANOTHER. YOUR BROTHER WAS A VERY TALENTED PERSON BUT HE WAS A DRUG ADDICT. PLACE THE BLAME WHERE IT SHOULD GO.
Let me start with the rude and negative comments. No one cares what you say. To #6by bart, you are sick and need God to help you control what you say because you wishing God would take out the whole family in a bus crash or something is cold and heartless and you better hope it don't come back to you and your family. "Whatever you sow you so shall reap." Oh! by the way the first letter in God is capitalized. #7by teddy, everybody does not know the dangers of medications thats the doctor and the pharmacy's place to let the individual know the dangers, and effects of medicine. U should be mad at this doctor even if you are not a MJ fan because a human life was taking. u would if it happened to someone in your family by a doctor or doctor's. It don't matter how much this doctor got paid he took an oath to protect his patient and he didn't. So he should be punished severely. #10byme God will not let no one get away with taking another human life especially for money or for any other reason so just watch out and see.#19bytruthhurts, Let's hope God has mercy on U if someone kills someone in your family and pray that no one says they deserve a medal of honor for doing it. Do you even know what Medal of Honor stands for don't think so. U better hope no one don't call you a pedophile one day. U didn't know Michael nor what he went through in his life so keep quiet before it comes back to u. #21idk,How do you know what kind of path Michael was going down you didn't live with him. This doctor is at fault a 100% because he knew Michael had a problem in the past and this doctor and others took advantage of Michael for money.#22dajuice Michael being a celebrity had nothing to do with his death money did and all the individuals around him, so this dr.deserves to be charged with most severe penalty because he knew what to give Michael.#27fredfarkel,those two doctors didn't give u the medicine because they knew they were not suppose to by law, Michael didn't have anything to do with them not giving you sleep medication. if you shopped around and u believe Michael did then u have a problem as well and u are no better.#30bykatmac96 if u were a honest and caring individual u wouldn't shoot anybody with drugs for money. How do u know if Michael was a junkie u don't. U didn't live with him and u don't know what others were doing to him. #32bylevi, this is the doctor's job to know not to put someone under anesthesia anywhere except in a hospital. He is the one responsible. #34byj, hope no one accuses u of messing with little boys but anyone can make up lies about u or anyone else to their advantage. Praying for u. #37melissa,u didn't live with MJ and u don't know what he was doing.Others could force drugs on him if they wanted to by threatening him or someone in his family. Anybody can do this to another individual especially for money. #54 grow up and learn to have respect and love for others even the ones you don't like. #51byem, I agree with u Michael did have a whole lot of enablers and workers such as bodyguards and others that could have prevented his family and others who wanted to intervene to help Michael if he was using. Also agree that Michael's problem was not as bad as the media or others say. These doctors and others knew they could do this to Michael and make it look like he was the one doing it all to himself. When they were the ones who were doing it for the money and the fame which they thought was more important than a human life. So they are all quilty. Hope God gets anyone who does this to another human being no matter who they are. Janet keep standing up for Michael he would for you, and make sure they all pay for what they did to MIchael and his children.
Britney Spears might miss a lot more 'X Factor' auditions ... because she can! Simon Cowell gave Brit damn near free reign in order to sign the pop star to that $15 million deal -- but is it backfiring? We'll tell you what peeps on the set are saying.Plus, Chris Jericho's…
