Hulk Hogan's Face Bloodied During Presser

11/18/2009 11:00 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

The blood was pouring down Hulk Hogan's face, back into his hair and down to his mouth after the wrestling legend got into a wild brawl with Ric Flair at a press conference in Australia.

Hogan and Flair were in Australia to promote an upcoming wrestling event, when all of the sudden they began to beat the crap out of each other ... Flair socking Hogan in the head over and over and over.

We know -- you're thinking it's all BS to promote the fight, but we spoke with somebody in Hulk's camp who insists the entire thing was real ... the blood and the injuries.

Real blood. Wrestlers use razor blades to give themselves "the juice". I thought they quit that in the 80's though. I guess the WWE needs a little juice since the UFC stole a lot of their redneck idolization.

HE DESERVES SOO MUCH WORSE THAN A PUNCH TO THE HEAD! THIS GUY IS SO DISGUSTING, AND SO IS HIS FAMILY, ESPICALLY HIS KILLER SON THAT BASICALLY TOOK THE LIFE OF HIS FRIEND (BRAIN DEAD) AND HULK SHOWED SOO MUCH DISREGARD FOR HIM! TALKING SOO MUCH CRAP ABOUT THE VICTIM THAT HE SUPPLIED THE BZE TO HIS SON AND GAVE HIM THE CAR! HULK NEEDS TO BE LOCKED UP IN PRISON WITH HIS SON! AND HIS PROSTITUTE UGLY WIFE AND DAUGHTER! I FEEL SO SORRY FOR THE VICTIM AND HIS FAMILY.

Your poll question is a bit misleading. You are asking if it is real blood. I'd say, yes it is. But is the brawl real? No, it is staged. It is just that in wrestling it is common to cut yourself intentionally for maximum effect when the fight happens.

why do people say "then all of the sudden" that's not how the expression goes, it doesn't even make sense. Its "all of a sudden"

When have you ever seen Hulk Hogan wearing a plain white T-shirt? It's there for a reason.

The goal was to attract attention. It worked. Who cares if the blood was real or not?

I just saw this on youtube. It was staged. I grew up in the South watching fake wrestling. This was really badly staged. They have lost any edge they had. The blood was real, because Hogan nicked his head twice with a taped up razor blade he had palmed and used with his back to the camera's and all his security around him. How stupid with all the "men" there, they could not control Rick Flair, a 60 year old man with many bumps bruises and torn up joints.

However fake, let it be noted that Hogan and Flair ABSOLUTELY do not like each other as people, nor, for the most part as talent/businesspeople. This is generally due to Flair's disgust with Bishoff, and Hogan's friendship with him. Makes me wonder what Flair is doing there anyway.

the truth hurts huh

Real blood does not look that red .... it's much darker - more like maroon or even looks black. Dumbasses either way.

In Australia - didn't they make Britney Spears announce prior to her show that she lip synced? Why doesn't Wrestling have to also announce that they fake everything????!!!!

It's totally fake. When blood dries, it turns brown. The dried blood on the hulk's face is red.

For all you marks out there, first off, usually when a wrestler bleeds, it is a blade job. They usually will hide a fine razor blade in their taped wrist or fingers, or heck, sometimes under their toungue, or their "opponent" will do the blade job for them.

Hogan has Flair signed to a 3 year deal. They get along pretty well nowadays and have plans to do a reality show together, that SPIKE TV will get first dibs on to look at.

Overall, this was a good old school wrestling angle to build up a match, long ago the art lost by WWE. These two are the best ever in their profession.

Flair will wrestle forever because he loves it, plus, he has huge alimony bills.
