Though she knew Michael Jackson had a drug problem, Janet says she had no clue her brother was using Propofol -- the drug that ultimately killed him.

In an interview with Robin Roberts, MJ's sister says it was "a shocker" when she found out about the dangerous drug he used to go to sleep -- and no one in family knew the extent to which he was using.

Hi Deb, how are you and how is Henry?
I hope he will be home soon with you!!

I also will never understand why Michael chose this way to "solve" his sleeping problem because of course this didn't solve anything.
There must have been other solutions.
I don't know much about this but there must be thousands of people struggeling with that same problem and they don't have access to propofol. How are they treated??

Ok all kidding aside Deb... I had Propofol for one procedure recently and let me tell you, THAT STUFF WORKED FOR ME.

I woke up, got wheeled to recovery, and while 6 other men were sitting around in various stages of discomfort, I was chatting away with all of them and cracking jokes.

LMAO - about 10 minutes into my best Jay Leno impersonation, the nurse warned me that the high was about to disappear.

Well, yeah. It disappeared all right. Boohoo. :-(

But I went straight to work afterward. Didn't get much done but I went to work.

I have mixed feelings about what the Jacksons claim they knew and didn't know. Immediately after Michael's death, Jermaine and Tito claimed in interviews that they knew nothing about his drug problem. Yet simultaneously claiming the family tried several interventions that failed. The family wouldn't have been trying to intervene unless they knew something. Maybe they didn't know it was propofol but they knew he was addicted. Though I hear that addicts will stick to a "drug of choice", it wouldn't surprise me what an addict would switch-to or get strung-out on as long as they had the money to pay for it.

...And why is Janet such a zombie in her interview anyway? No personality at all; like she's regurgitating the answers from memory. I know she's somber about her brother's death but that doesn't seem to answer why her personality is missing during the interview.

Hi Irene! I am fine, thank you. Henry however has had a setback. Last week or so he had the flu, so they put a halt to his therapy, and then Friday when he was feeling better they evaluated him for long term rehab. Unfortunately after that he had 2 seizures, they are not sure why because he is loaded up on the seizure medication Dilantin. They brought in a neurologist Monday and he put him on Keppra which is a newer antiseizure med. Right now it is a waiting game to see how he adjusts to the medication before they send him off to rehab.

I appreciate your asking, it means a lot to me. We have been through hell and back; it hasn't been easy. But I have my family and friends to lean on, and of course the wonderful people here who pray for us and always ask how he is doing. So we are getting along, slowly but surely. :)

Hi Fred,

I am glad it worked for you. Everyone is different and as with any other medication we may or may not react the same. I hated it, I hope I never have it again. Yes, once it wore off I felt better but in the immediate post-op period I felt like I was very drugged. Didn't like it.

I wonder if he saw the questions people wanted to ask him and chickened out. No doubt there were some very confrontational, abrasive questions as virtually no one that I have talked to likes him. I agree he has a lot to hide, the question is, what???
