Team Lesnar: Brock Will Fight Again

Brock Lesnar's longtime friend and Jiu-Jitsu coach tells TMZ the hospitalized fighter WILL return to the Octagon -- and he guarantees Brock will return to battle condition in the next six months.

We spoke with Rodrigo "Comprido" Medeiros -- a 7-time World Jiu-Jitsu champ -- who tells us the reigning UFC heavyweight champ "is getting better and that is the most important thing ... He will be fine and be fighting again within 6 months."

Medeiros adds, "I can just say that the heavyweights can stop laughing and get ready to start crying because the champion will be back soon."

As we previously reported, Lesnar had been hospitalized due to a mysterious intestinal disorder. UFC president Dana White claimed the illness is so severe, Brock may never fight again.

So far, Brock has yet to release a comment himself.

1. BRACELET

A bracelet is an article of jewelry which is worn around the wrist. Bracelets can be manufactured from leather, cloth, hemp, plastic or metal, and sometimes contain rocks, wood, and/or shells. Bracelets are also used for medical and identification purposes, such as allergy bracelets and hospital patient-identification tags. The origin of the term 'bracelet' is from the Latin 'brachile' meaning 'of the arm', via the Old French 'barcel'.

The history of Egyptian bracelets is as old as 5000 BCE. Starting with materials like bones, stones and woods to serve religious and spiritual interests. From the National Geographic Society, the Scarab Bracelet is one of the most recognized symbols of ancient Egypt. The scarab represented rebirth and regeneration. Carved scarabs were worn as jewelry and wrapped into the linen bandages of mummies. Myth told of the scarab god, Khepri, pushing the sun across the sky.

In Latin America, Azabache Bracelets are worn to protect against the Mal de ojo, or evil eye. The evil eye is believed to result of excessive admiration or envious looks by others. Having newborn babies wear an azabache (a gold bracelet or necklace with a black or red coral charm in the form of a fist), is believed to protect them from the evil eye.

In Bulgaria there is a tradition called Martenitsa which sometimes involves tying a red and white string around the wrist to please Baba Marta to make spring come sooner.

In some parts of India, the number and type of bangles worn by a woman denotes her marital status.

3. Why don't they just freakin come clean and just admit his "mysterious" illness just has something to do with steroid abuse and be done with it. I'm so sick of these wrestlers and their "mysterious" illnesses. They're all roid raging syringe addicts.

9. Ok, so I am a little afraid of Shane Carwin. You would poke yourself in the intestine with a coat hanger too if you had to fight him!

10. Probably inserted a small bowling trophy up his rectum during "alone time". Pro wrestling fans are the most sub-moronic on the planet.

12. Brock is praying that Fedor Emilianenko will retire undefeated and not enter the UFC ring.
Fedor is the best fighter ever, nobody even close to his skills and certainly not Brock.
Good wishes for recovery dude, health first - without it you're nothing.

14. Well Thank God for that news!!! With our troops fighting and dying for our country, the Swine flu wrecking havoc across the country, and with obscene levels of unemployment in our country, we can now sleep a little easier at night knowing some overblown, steroid-infused, rasslin star-turned-bar fighter is going to be O.K.!!! Now if we can save Paris Hilton from disappearing into tabloid oblivion..........the world will be a better place for all!!!
