Arnold Schwarzenegger: I'll Be Back Taxes

11/27/2009 7:30 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

The United States government might have a bigger budget to work with -- if one bodybuilding governor would pay the back taxes it appears he never got around to paying.

According to documents filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Arnold Schwarzenegger owes the IRS $39,047 from 2004 and $40,016 from 2005.

In total the Guv owes $79,064.00 ... and as we all know, he's definitely not saving the money for rainy day traffic violations.

An official at the L.A. County Recorder's Office tells TMZ their system shows the lien is still active.

Arnold's rep released the following statement: "No one, including the IRS, has notified the governor of any issues whatsoever with his taxes. We are contacting the IRS to determine if the document in question, which appears to be a penalty for missing info and not for unpaid taxes, is legitimate and if there is any discrepancy to resolve."

He and his wife are TAKERS. Arnold came to CA as a dirt poor, immigrant nobody and made his fortune and how does he pay California back? By running it into the ground and by not paying his taxes. A few years ago, his wife was selling her books in the CA state museum and keeping the profits, as if the museum were her private swap meet. You can look it up. These people think they are doing our state a favor by being here. They are NOT. Arnold needs to resign!

I can't move out of California fast enough! We're taxed to death (except for the Governor, apparently) and governed by idiots who have driven the state into the ground. I'm off to Texas where, I hope, I'll also be somewhat safer from Obama's socialist crooks.

The IRS filed this tax lien against Arnold--back in May. Furthermore, unlike other polticians, Arnold has not made public his tax returns from 2004 or 2005.

YOU KNOW, all these negative comments against California's first couple, including mine, do not make any difference to them. If you stick a pin in them, they will not feel it because they are much too arrogant to care what "lesser people like us," think. They consider themselves far too superior to be rattled by people "beneath" themselves. Talk about private behavior being revealed, THIS one is a GEM! Hooda thunk it???

In L.A.

Alright, can't balance his own personal budget, so why should he be expected/allowed to balance the budget for the entire state (In financial crisis). The IRS should just with hold his paychecks to suffice his tax bill. Wage garnishment.
