It always amazes me that a band can be huge for a year or two, drop off the radar, go to make another album a few years later and the record companies won't touch them. These guy were huge in the early 90's and now he's selling albumson a website. Having said that, you probably make more money selling less albums because you can keep the better part of your return.
I believe that he had some kind of vocal paralysis in the 90s that took them out of the game for awhile. It's unfortunate, as I have all their albums (including the one that came out about a year ago), and they remained to be a great band long after their heyday.
And let's face it...these guys paved the way for a lot of the neo-hippie/jam rock that is popular today.
