Chris Henry 'Aggravated' by Wedding Costs

12/18/2009 9:35 AM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Just one day before he died, Chris Henry met with a rep from a North Carolina wedding planning company who claims the Cincinnati Bengals star was "annoyed" and "aggravated" at the cost of putting together his wedding.

The rep tells TMZ Chris and his fiancee Loleini Tonga came to the office on Tuesday night to discuss the pricing of a photography package. The rep claims Henry became upset when he saw the bill and "with an attitude" asked Loleini, "How much we paying for all this?"

The rep claims the two "bickered" over details -- and eventually Henry walked outside so Loleini could work out the details, fill out paperwork and fork over the deposit.

As we previously reported, Chris and Loleini had a "domestic situation" the following day which moved from a home to a moving pickup truck. Chris ultimately fell from the truck and died Thursday morning from his injuries.

If he was stupid enough to jump off the truck and kill himself, then he screwed his kids out of the insurance money. How much of an idiot is this guy. The woman leaves to get away from the argument. He chases the truck, climbs in the back of the truck, beats on the cab, windows and everything, yelling at her to stop, then treatens to jump off and kill himself, then he is a spot on the pavement.
He was selfish, immature, dangerous, didn't care about his kids, his committments, and has no respect for his fiancee. What a control freak. Thank God he did not get to her. If he is that crazed, no telling what he would have done to her.

WHy don't athletes learn that these girls(HOES) just want their money and dont care about them. They will pop some babies out to get mad child support so they can sit at home eating bon bons and thinking of more ways to screw their rich athlete. Wait til you retire athletes, otherwise the only love these hoes will have for you is for your $

Reckless endangerment for her hot tempered ass...over money...he asked you to stop so you can talk....people learn from this please...go to the darn courthouse and keep your money in your pocket...he probably just wanted to be secure later rather than spending all they had on a stupid wedding....doubt he jumped off the truck to kill hisself...I'm sure his life was harder than this growing up and he didn't kill hisself then...give me a break...

OK- so I thought it sounded crazy when I heard what the neighboor said...but here it is...he's going down the street on the back of a Truck begging someone to stop he realized the danger ahead and shouted to her stop or you gonna make me kill myself (i.e. stop!!!! I'm slipping and can't hold on).
Rest in peace sweet angel.

So much said in that short time.

The economy is a mess...people are loosing their jobs constantly...no place to eat, no home, children are dying, our world is in a mess....$3,000 dollar pictures - STOP! $25,000 dollar dinners in Washington - STOP! Freeing Murderers and Child Abusers - STOP! lAND GRABBING - STOP! Making money off the hardship of others - STOP!
STOP- STOP- PLEASE STOP- OR WE WILL KILL US!
IF THEY THAT ARE CALLED BY MY NAME SHALL HUMBLE THEMSELVES AND PRAY AND TURN FROM THEIR WAYS AND SEEK MY FACE THEN WILL I HEAR FROM HEAVEN, THEN WILL I FORGIVE THEIR SINS.

Why don't these grossly overpaid athletes quit griping about how much things cost? In the end it cost him his life which is not replaceable.

of course he got pissed! Read that contract! No photo albums, a limited shooting time - no pictures included and the photographer owns the copyright! He should've contacted www.dreammakerevent.com he would've had a less expensive photographer with far more product for his dollar - and would probably still be alive today!

What a whiny celebrity, pay up! What makes sense is that it is totally his fault and his responsibility to see how much it all costs beforehand before hiring vendors. Right? He cannot hire them then stiff them out of cash. Whatever, I am sick of celebrities acting like they are so bad and cool.

If yoos handed all your weddin' guests disposable cameras and told them ta bloody bloody go wild, I'd bet you'd find yoos get better flims than a professional and at a fraction of the price. AND ya own dat copyright.

As one of the top wedding photographers in the nation (as rated by the Knot magazine) I can tell you that his photography was CHEAP! Very inexpensive. Well under industry average.

@ Michael - dude - top photographer or not, you really overcharge your clients. Then again, most wedding professionals do, because there is an intense level of price fixing in the industry.

We charge $2500 - that includes albums, all the pictures on DVD in high res, the copyright as well as over 100 prints. That comes with award winning photojournalists, not hobbyists or weekend guys.

And we still make a very decent profit.

Why the need to charge so much?

FULL COPYRIGHTS for 2500? Are you nuts? You mean personal use rights. This contract, which is horrible prepared, attempts to grant personal use rights, but is vague in said effort. If a client want FULL copyrights, meaning I (the photographer) will no longer own them and cannot use them for any purpose whatsoever....well, I charge roughly 3-10 x the normal rate..... When I shoot celebrity weddings, they pay for FULL ownership, so websites like TMZ and magazines like us weekly don't get a hold of the images. Pretty simple.

Back to WHITE GLOVE PHOTOGRAPHY.....it seems to be a nickel and dime operation. charging per image, charging for discs etc....When you deal with a high level clientele, they don't want to deal with all of the options. They want to hire you and that's it.

I can understand Chris' concern over the cost of a wedding. Firstly they had been living together for some time, secondly from her MySpace page it appears that she may be going Bridzilla. She comments on such things like a ring SHE just purchased not a ring he purchased for her...bridesmaids dresses, etc, etc. If she wanted a large "Traditional Faerie-tail Wedding" she should have also had the wedding paid for in the traditional way: Her Father's money. His income was not a large sum, and his future income was questionable as he was cruuently on the injured list and his contract was expiring. It has also been mentioned that he used a goodly sum of his income supporting his family members after they lost everything in hurricane Catrina. For various reasons he was the sole source of income for his mother and others in his family. His GF had an opportunity for a large eventful wedding with her FIRST wedding. The one where she had her first child. They each had a child by previous marriages, and then two children by one-another.

From what has been publicly released, in my opinion she had an opportunity to mitigate any further damages, and by simply having stopped the truck she would perhaps still have a future husband, and if not at least her ex-fiancée would still have his life. There are no comments about him being violent, only that he was pleading with her to stop so they could talk. She should be charged with manslaughter at a minimum, and perhaps a higher degree murder charge.
