Rush Limbaugh -- Bad Wishes

1/1/2010 3:30 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Rush LimbaughOur poll on whether Rush Limbaugh should get better soon surprised even us.

After he was admitted to the a Honolulu hospital two days ago for chest pains, we wanted to take your temperature.

Unfortunately for Rush, turns out it was a rectal thermometer.

#1. TMZ sucks for posting this.
#2. It should be taken down.
#3. God have mercy on EVERY person's soul who wished this man ill.

Imagine if someone wished these evil things against someone YOU love!
If you don't have anything nice to say, STFU- or be sent to HELL for all eternity!

MAY ALL YOU BAD WISHERS SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES OF YOUR ACTIONS AND REMARKS ABOUT ANOTHER HUMAN. JUST BECAUSE U DON'T LIKE HIM DON'T GIVE YOU THE RIGHT TO WISH THE THINGS U DO ON THIS INDIVIDUAL. SOMEBODY WILL DO YOU THE SAME WAY SOMEDAY AND POSSIBLY YOUR FAMILY MEMBER AS WELL. WE HAVE TO MUCH HATRED IN THIS WORLD THAT'S WHY AMERICA IS SUFFERING AND SO ARE OTHER PLACES IN THE WORLD. U ALL ARE NO BETTER THAN HIM. MAY GOD HAVE MERCY ON YOU ALL AND HELP U AND LIMBAUGH TO CHANGE YOUR WAYS. THIS MAN HAS A RIGHT TO SAY WHAT HE WANTS JUST AS MUCH AS U AND OTHERS DO WHEN IT COMES TO THINGS U DON'T LIKE OR DO LIKE. THAT'S WHY WE HAVE FREEDOM OF SPEECH. IF U DON'T LIKE WHAT HE SAYS DON'T LISTEN TO HIM. IF ITS WRONG THEN GOD WILL JUDGE HIM NOT U ALL. REMEMBER WHAT YOU SAY OR DO WILL BE ALSO JUDGED BY GOD WHETHER U BELIEVE IN GOD OR NOT. BECAUSE THERE IS A GOD AND WE WILL ALL STAND BEFORE HIM SOMEDAY AND IT IS NOT GOING TO BE LONG NOW. JUST LOOK AT THE THINGS GOING ON IN THIS WORLD. NOTHING BUT TROUBLE EVERY WHERE U TURN AND U HEAR IT ON TV AS WELL.

I find it appalling that there are those who would wish Limbaugh death. He has a right to spew venom and hatred, to promote racism and sexism, and, yes, even to be seditious. All of these rights are guaranteed under the Constitution. Instead, I wish him condemned to a period of incarceration for one year in order to regain his health by being obliged during his waking hours to listen to 6 hours a day of Quaker sermons about peace, humility, and compassion for those less fortunate than he, and to an hour a day each to Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow.

The question was a poor choice of words. But, that was all that was offered. I do not think anyone here wishes Rush would die. It would be a nice thing to see him become a "real" Christian, and make sure the things he says are well thought out, and well researched. He has racist overtones and makes exceedingly cruel remarks-not Christian, but apparently Conservative. Like a verbal "Lynching".

I am a Republican, but his views are truly ignorant.

Bo Snerdly sure is not doing his job.

I find it reprehensible that these people who pride themselves on freedoms for all, do not allow those same freedoms to those who disagree with them. I have never heard such hate as the hate that comes from the far left "loving" liberals. Rush states the facts and how he interprets them. He has the freedom, thank God, to do that in this country. Unfortunately, you all have the same freedoms and use those freedoms to promote hatred. God be with you Rush and get better soon.

Most of the people who "hate" Rush Limbaugh can't quote ONE line of what he has really said. The left fears him so much that they misquote him and take him out of context. He says stuff that is HIS opinion and he has an opinion based talk show. Without the Rush Limbaugh's of the world (on both sides) the public would be mindlessly manipulated by the editorial opinions of the media. There is no reason to wish someone dead or hurt just because you don't believe in opposition. If you don't like someone who opposes you, then you should move to Iran. They have a great one party system.

Yvonne - I thought I just wished him well. I somehow missed the underlying political statements your telepathy must have picked up on. Thank you so much for pointing them out in your thought-provoking diatribe.

And please accept my best wishes to you, too. Feel free to provide further clarity and insight to my response if you're so inclined. I have such a hard time explaining myself. It's nice to know you're here to help.

I don't think one should wish another person bad wishes. However I believe Rush is a type of person who would not care how other people live or suffer. He says mean and evil things to people not because he has a big bad mouth but because he is what he says, and he also earns a good living for doing so. It is fair for people to return the favor. One can expect people to love him/her, when one does mean things to people.
