A&E to Jackson Bros -- The Offer's on the Table

1/17/2010 1:20 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Jermaine, Jackie, Marlon, and Tito may be as tired of their A&E show as everybody else in America -- we're told the network has already offered them a second season ... but so far, the bros. haven't bitten.

Jackson Family

TMZ spoke with a rep for A&E, who confirmed the offer and told us the network would gladly have MJ's male siblings back for another round of "The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty" -- which airs its last episode this Sunday.

But there's one problem: we're told the brothers haven't responded to the offer yet.

It's unclear why the brothers wouldn't jump at the chance for a paycheck ... but then again, it's the Jacksons ... so nothing is ever as it seems.

I just cannot believe Dr Death is free to work & breath and not removed from the planet by now. Just goes to show how screwed the legal system is with everything else leaving the honest hard working people always further screwed.

Shouldn't that read "The Jacksons: A Michael Jackson Family Dynasty". Being they lived outa his pockets & off his back all his live & after passing.

I wouldn't watch to pad their greedy pockets anyhow. It should be Michael we should be watching still with us and not them.

Personal opinion:

Astonishes me that today on 2010 the sexual condition of people is a matter of debate, sorry but I think is it a discussion of the Middle Ages, or it is posible I live in another galaxy.

I have a question, at some moment, for write hier, was required to know with whom we sleeping?

Because I don´t understand what is the reason to discuss that private matter

(Sorry my bad English)

Show idea for next season: Jackie, Tito, Marlon, AND Randy invite Jermaine and Dr. Thome Thome out for dinner. Unbeknown to the "doc" and MJ's "backbone," aka, Jermaine, the pair is given directions to an abandoned warehouse on the docks of Long Beach instead of the surf and turf bistro at a local marina.

Dr. Thome Thome and Jermaine are directed to drive in to the warehouse by the brothers. The two get out and start questioning the brothers. Jackie, Tito, Marlon and Randy tie up the pair and begin asking questions about the "doc's" business with MJ and if he had more money than the 5 million her returned to Mj's estate. When the pair don't answer to the brothers' satisfaction, the group applies pressure in the form of beatings and torture. Jermaine's hair gets messed up and he flips out.. He starts whining.

Suggestion: It might improve ratings if waterboarding is applied in this situation.

Of course THIS IS A JOKE. But the desire from some fans for answers is not. Why hasn't Jermaine said anything about hisintroduction of Thome Thome to MJ and why Thome Thome was at the UCLA announcement of MJ's death when MJ fired him months before.? Why is Jermaine in such a hurry to put on a show.....His brother hasn't even been gone for a year. What's the deal? I feel more emotion from Jackie, Tito, Marlon and Randy than Jermaine. He's so bent on doing a show. GIVE IT A REST!!! AND RESPECT YOUR BROTHER!!!

Fellas, give it at least a year before you do a show. You may not get the reaction you want from MJ's fans.

Michael Jackson's 'This Is It' concert was designed to thrill in every sense imaginable, from the costumes and set design to the lighting, special effects and, of course, the Grammy-winning music. Coming to DVD and Blu-ray January 26, ET has a look behind the scenes of 'This Is It' with the late King of Pop -- and the 3D "Thriller" spectacular planned for the London concerts!

"Michael was a big fan of 3D and of classic horror films, and in appreciation of that, he thought it would be fun to do a 3D 'Thriller,'" says director Kenny Ortega. "18,000 people a night were going to put on their 3D glasses and have a three-dimensional 'Thriller' experience.

"He was in charge, like an old-fashioned entertainer," continues Ortega. "Technology didn't run the show, Michael ran the show, and when he stopped, you watched and you held your breath, and that's what made Michael Jackson Michael Jackson on stage, and why he was different than anyone else that you went to see in concert."

‘We Are the World’ Sequel Set to Aid Haiti

EXCLUSIVE: This column has learned that Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie are planning a massive 25th anniversary re-recording of “We Are the World.”

The timing couldn’t be better, sadly enough.

The duo is summoning lots and lots of talent from Grammy weekend to stay an extra night — Monday Feb. 1 — and come to the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. There, they will celebrate a quarter century since Ken Kragen, Richie and Michael Jackson organized the original “We Are the World” with Quincy.

This time the artists invited include Usher, Natalie Cole, and John Legend. But you can bet that more names will be added shortly and that all the Grammy nominees and participants will be asked to come as well. Grammy producer Ken Ehrlich will produce the event, which will then be turned into a video and single just like it was in 1985. Don’t be surprised if Wyclef Jean joins in, along with Sting, Fergie, Alicia Keys, Justin Timberlake and other distinctive voices.

It’s hoped that as in 1985, everyone will “leave their egos at the door.”

Good Morning sue

Yes, I think Michael would be very happy knowing that something he created will once again be used to help others in need.

His legacy will live on thru the works of others.

Thank you MICHAEL !,,20337229,00.html

A global telethon to raise money for victims of Haiti’s catastrophic 7.0-magnitude earthquake will air Jan. 22 on MTV and other networks.

The two-hour Hope for Haiti will run commercial free and be led by George Clooney in Los Angeles, Wyclef Jean in New York City and CNN's Anderson Cooper in Haiti.

The special will be broadcast from L.A. and New York and air live at 8 p.m. ET on MTV, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, FOX, BET, The CW and HBO, among other networks.

Donations will benefit Haiti relief efforts by the Red Cross, UNICEF, the Yele Haiti Foundation, Oxfam America and Partners in Health and be divided evenly among the groups.

The program will feature musical performances and celebrity appearances that will be announced later, before the special, as well as live news reports from CNN.

Meanwhile, Not on Our Watch – an international advocacy organization founded by Matt Damon, Don Cheadle, Brad Pitt, Clooney and producer Jerry Weintraub – announced Friday it would be giving $1 million in emergency funds to provide medical services to the earthquake victims.

"The people of Haiti are in desperate need of help," the group said. "Our organization, Not On Our Watch, will do whatever it can and we know the international community will as well."

Random Angel

My posts aren't posting either, and I don't have time to fight with TMZ today, LOL

We need a new story, almost 1400 posts here and no where else to go!

Every time I post the following link, a new story ends up going up and everyone misses it. This time I am posting in with the hopes that a new story goes up!

This photographer photographs abandoned places and was able to get into Neverland (somehow) at night, after Michael left, but before the rides were gone. The flash from the camera makes it look so bright it looks like daytime. I love the article too, I love the author's perspective. Definitely a worthwhile read even for those who are on the fence...

Agree, need some fresh news not some fluff which is pretty much all we have been receiving.

Those photos are breathtakingly beautiful but at the same time hauntingly sad.

Not simply for the reason that Michael is now gone, but that he was tormented to the point where he felt he had to abandon that magical place.
