This man who calls himself a doctor has some nerve! I dont know what he was trying to prove but everything this man does upsets me. I hope when he goes to jail some crazy inmate puts him to sleep.

Like I've always stated....I love your username!
But I have never stated that Conrad Murray wasn't negligent...he definitely was. And should definitely be held accountable in some degree for both his actions and his inactions.

MJ was not a simple addict. He had a problem with PRESCRIPTION drugs.
MJ was well known for his strong anti-drug stance when he was younger and it is doubtful that he would have ever sought out illegal drugs. However, when a doctor prescribes medication, there is an assumption that the medicine is not only safe, but necessary.

To try to justify Murrays actions is not only foolish but dangerous.
It's totally irrelevant whether MJ begged him for the drug or not.

MJ suffered from genuine medical conditions such as anxiety, lupus and chronic insomnia and was initially legitimately prescribed medication to alleviate these conditions. The doctors involved should have carefully monitored the medication to ensure it did not reach addiction levels. Therefore the medical profession were responsible for his initial addiction, for accelerating that addiction throughout his life and ultimately for his death.

Most doctors regularly receive irrational requests from their patients. To justify Murrays actions means you agree that doctors should be free to concede to their patients wishes. Even when those demands may not ultimately be in the patients best interest.

Murray owed a duty of care to MJ. He was aware that MJ had previously spent time in rehab and had psychological issues with medication. He knew that the levels of medication were excessive.

So, Murray had a choice. He could have ethically advised rehab or therapy. Yet he simply (like every other doctor in MJ's life) fed the cash cow. Murray went far beyond being negligent, way beyond being reckless. An involuntary manslaughter charge is derisory for such a crime.

Sadly, if all the doctors in MJ's past had practiced within their code of ethics, then we wouldn’t be having this discussion. Let us hope that at least finally, one doctor, will be made accountable for his actions.

Please, it is all a huge media ploy. Look at Michaels Ghosts videos, he faked his death due to a half a billion of debt he owed, and to escape public scrutiny, that is why it took so long for every minute detail of this entire saga since his death hoax. Get a grip. Elvis did it too for other reasons, both left a ton of clues.
