Michael Jackson Coroner Report - House of Drugs

2/8/2010 5:15 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

TMZ has just obtained a copy of the full L.A. County Coroner's report in the death of Michael Jackson -- which until now was under seal. The conclusion is clear ... Propofol killed the singer.

Michael Jackson

According to the report, the manner of death is homicide and the conclusion is based on the following 4 items:

1. Circumstances indicate the Propofol and the benzodiazepines were administered by another.

2. Propofol was administered in a non-hospital setting without any appropriate medical indication.

3. The standard of care for administering Propofol was not met. Recommended equipment for patient monitoring, precision dosing and resuscitation was not present.

4. The circumstances do not support self-administration of Propofol.

The Coroner's report was under wraps until the criminal complaint was filed and it will be a centerpiece in the prosecution of Dr. Conrad Murray on charges of involuntary manslaughter.

UPDATE: In the Coroner's report, the scene at Jackson's house is described in detail, and the bedroom sounds like a hospital. There was a chair next to the bed -- "reportedly the decedent's doctor sat here." Also there -- a green oxygen tank, prescription meds, medical supplies, a box of catheters, disposable needles and alcohol pads. Also found -- near the foot of the bed ... a closed bottle of urine.

As we first reported, authorities found 11 bottles of Propofol in the house -- 3 100 ml vials and 8 20 ml vials.

Also, there was talk about Jackson's hair and reports he was bald. In fact, the Coroner's report says, "The decedent's head hair is sparse and is connected to a wig."

UPDATE: As for what drugs were found in Michael Jackson's house ... authorities found Diazepam (for anxiety) prescribed by Dr. Murray, Lorazepam (for anxiety) prescribed by Dr. Murray and Temazepam (for insomnia) prescribed by Dr. Murray. Authorities also found Clonazepam (for panic disorders) prescribed by Dr. Allan Metzger, Trazodone (an anti-depressant) prescribed by Dr. Metzger. And they found Tizanidine (a muscle relaxer) prescribed to Omar Arnold (a Jackson alias) prescribed by Dr. Arnold Klein. There was also an empty vial of Propofol injectable emulsion and an empty glass vial of a Flumazenil injection (which reverses effects of sedation) and a broken syringe.

As we first reported, authorities found 11 vials of Propofol ... 3 100 ml vials and 8 20 ml vials. None of the bottles had prescription directions, patient or doctor names.

They also found liquid Midazolam (anti-anxiety), Lorazepam liquid (injectable) and 14 capsules of ephedrine (for narcolepsy and depression), caffeine aspirin, Zanaflex (a muscle relaxer) and Prednisone (for skin conditions). There was also Azithromycin (an antibiotic), prescribed by Dwight James/Cherilyn Lee and the patient name was Kathlyn Hursey.

UPDATE: An anesthesiologist who consulted with the Coroner said there are "NO reports of its use (Propofol) for insomnia relief, to my knowledge. The only reports of its use in homes are cases of fatal abuse."

As others have said, Murray was an idiot who obviously let greed guide him instead of common sense, not to mention obeying the laws and his oath as a physician. BUT, let's not forget that this was all done with MJ's knowledge. It was made clear that Michael Jackson was very demanding about being given these substances and went to great lengths to get what he wanted. Plus a lot of people don't like to say "no" to a celebrity like MJ. If it hadn't been Murray, it would have been some other idiot who had the misfortune to get messed up with someone like Michael Jackson, a very wealthy individual who was used to getting what he wanted and obviously had some very serious peronal issues.

So, while I do think Dr. Murray deserves to be punished for participating in this, I feel very strongly that Michael Jackson is the one who bears ultimate responsibility for his own death. He wasn't a child, he was a sophisticated adult who knew, or should have known that what he was using was an unbelievably dangerous drug. And I think he absolutely DID know that he was flirting with death by using thse drugs and he didn't care. He just couldn't cope with life.

Smells like MURDER, to me! Doctors have, what is called, in the law, "superior knowledge". Murray acted no more like a "doctor" than a babboon, in a suit! He is to blame, for he procured...administered the Propofol, and many other a patient, who was not responding to his "treatment". He should have sought IMMEDIATE emergency help, and transport to the nearest medical facility. The fact that he did not spells M-U-R-D-E-R! MURRAY SHOULD HAVE KNOWN, BETTER...period...

For you moveover and mytwocents:

OK a drug dealer hanging around outside the schoolyard gives your kid heroin and your kid shoots up.

Your kid dies, should the drug dealer be prosecuted or is it your kid's fault he's dead because he took the drug and died?

Murray had no business administering the propofol without proper monitoring equipment. It was gross negligence.

Michael paid the ultimate price now it's time for Murray to pay the piper for his stupid greed and wanton disregard for the life of a patient. Four years behind bars isn't nearly enough for his crime.

The report confirms what was thought. So now it is formal. What about the rumors concerning his lack of a nose? And him being bald? Does the report put them to rest?

Paula Duvall

Thank your lucky stars, Murray, that I am not a member of the Jackson family! Whether you serve significant time, in prison...or, if the "system" lets you off with a week's worth of house-arrest...I have no shame in saying that I hope that you are financially ruined, and impotent...for the rest of your life; and that you have to look over your shoulder, for just as long! Believe that!

Michael was always going out in disguises. I'm sure that's how he is living his life now. You can go on you tube and search "dave dave larry king live" then right after that search on you tube "dave dave myspace message". Tell me what you think is off. Also here are a couple links for you too: Check out those 4 things and I would like to see your response. I'll try to remember to come back and read it.

Since when do the put bodies in the ambulance with head at the back of the ambulance door?? Don't the patient's head go up by the driver? Was it for the perfect "proof Michael is dead shot"? And that last photo that was taken ... why is his skin normal in color (for Michael)? If you were cardiac arrest for over an hour... wouldn't you blue/grey?? Now... I'm NOT saying that one of his impersonators didn't possibly die. I just don't think MJ is dead based on the stuff I've watched/read/heard. And I'm not some crazy obsessed fan living in denial of MJ's death.

U.S. Army Vet;

You are too reading obviously... since you did take the time to comment. Don't worry about who is reading and commenting on what. Mind your business... stay off TMZ if it discusses you so bad. This could have been time and energy focusing on what you better view. My husband is in Haiti, and I'm not all wrapped around the axel about what people do in their spare time. Go pass judgments some where else. Better yet, YOU go VOLUNTEER in Haiti and do something better with YOUR time!

Not only that... have you EVER heard of a Dr. administring CPR on a bed. Everyone knows you put them on the floor as a harder surface gives better results.
