Dr. Conrad Murray -- Life Is a Carnival

2/14/2010 3:10 PM PST BY TMZ STAFF

Long before he may or may not have been responsible for the death of Michael Jackson, Dr. Conrad Murray was just another guy enjoying Carnival in Trinidad.

Conrad Murray

These photos were take in 2005 during a two-week trip to Trinidad and Tobago. He was down there with a few of his close guy friends -- and a few attractive female friends as well.

Michael Jackson Fun Fact
: Right around the time these photos were taken, Michael Jackson's second child molestation case was beginning.

12. Who cares?

Anyway, I'm getting a little tired of people demonizing Dr Murray. He's guilty of greed, manslaughter, and of being complete idiot for administering a dangerous drug but he isn't 100% responsible for MJ's death. MJ was a wealthy DRUG ADDICT. Why don't you all hold MJ or his family (who knew he was an addict) even partially responsible for his death. Had MJ NOT BEEN A FREAKING DRUG ADDICT he would still be alive.

* Where's the Conrad photos!? Can't seem to access them.
Good to see Conrad had a normal life prior to meeting Michael Jackson.

So what! TMZ made the comment that when this Conrad trip was going on....Michael Jackson was on trial for molestation allegations. So what he was.

Some MJfanatics will always make something out of nothing.
Nothing new there.

Fix the Conrad photo slice already!

I really admire and respect Conrad for the courage and perseverance that's he's continuing to display thoughout this ordeal.

Thanks TMZ for posting info/history re his life prior to all this BS.
Even the negative will be appreciated.

4. You mean the second bogus witch hunt trial against Michael was beginning. And if I recall correctly, there was only one bogus molestation trial not two like you have posted. .. If you recall, the first bogus molestation claim family didn't want a trial, just money. Love the way you try to still disrespect Michael TMZ........

* At least Conrad Murray didn't show up late or absent for court dates then wearing pajamas, citing hospital visits/illness, or leaning on a crutch due to a spider bite! MJ Media stunts. LOL

Conrad Murray hasn't resorted to sympathy tactics or flimsy excuses in order to skirt his responsibilities. He has conducted himself in a dignified manner.

MJfans refer to it as "smirking" or being obnoxious... I guess that's something foreign for them to witness.

In reality it's called dignity.

unbelievable

What's the deal with making it look and sound like Murray is a nice guy and then end your so-called story with a bad remark about Michael?

Really TMZ, the way you treat Michael is a shame.

You could at least state the outcome of the trial instead of leaving any unknowing readers thinking something awful.

Why don't you throw some of that disrespect at Murray? He's the one that deseves it.

Pop star arrives late, wears pajama pants
The Associated Press

Published Friday, March 11, 2005

SANTA MARIA, Calif. -- Michael Jackson went AWOL from his child molestation trial Thursday and was nearly jailed before he finally showed up more than an hour late, in his pajama bottoms and slippers, to listen to his accuser's second day of testimony.

The judge apparently didn't punish Jackson for his tardiness, which his attorney blamed on a serious back problem that required treatment at a hospital.

Jackson's late arrival occurred before his 15-year-old accuser testified about drinking liquor with the pop singer and looking at sex magazines with him. He also said he once saw Jackson walk into the room naked.

The jury heard only brief remarks from Judge Rodney S. Melville about the drama that unfolded at the start of the day, when defense attorney Thomas Mesereau Jr. announced Jackson's back problem.

Before Jackson showed up, the judge said he was issuing an arrest warrant and might revoke his $3 million bail. But he told the attorney he would hold the warrant for one hour to give the defendant time to get to court.

A distressed Jackson arrived a few minutes after the hour was up, walking gingerly into court wearing slippers, a suit jacket over a T-shirt and pajama bottoms -- a far cry from the carefully selected, flamboyant outfits he usually wears to court. As he walked toward the courthouse, Jackson turned around and waved at his fans.

"Mr. Jackson had a medical -- problem and it was necessary for me to order his appearance," Melville told jurors, adding that he didn't want the panel to draw any negative inferences from the developments.

Jackson's tardy arrival marked yet another strange twist in case that has seen its share of unusual events in recent months.

When Jackson was arraigned in January 2004, the judge admonished him for arriving late and requesting a bathroom break. Last month, during the first week of jury selection, Jackson went to a hospital with flu symptoms, delaying the proceedings for a week.
