seriously people he is a snowboarder, not an senator; there is absolutely nothing wrong with him having a little fun after winning a medal. And as far as comparing him to Tiger... really?? how in the world is goofing around with a friend similar to cheating on your wife with anything that has a pulse. Get over it people! This poor guy should not have even felt the need to leave the Olympics and lose out on the rest of the experience that he earned.

Honestly, haven't we learned that athletes are not saints and we shouldn't hold them up to higher moral standards (Tiger, Kobe etc.). We still let Kobe cheated on his wife and we still let him compete in the Olympics. So Scotty got a little wild at a party and he gets punished for it? That's ridiculous.

Guess he was reeeeal proud of that medal, allowing anyone to paw it anywhere, right after he got it. Too bad he won it - sure some other guy or girl would have appreciated it more.

If any of you think that this type of behavior is new to an Olympics, then you haven't heard or read any stories of past Olympics. The Olympic Village has always been one big orgy pit. It's human nature to do these things when your young, famous, athletic, etc. Don't be so pious and naive.

Yeah! You should go home. The fun of being at the 2010 Winter Olympics is over. Go home, reflect on the positive and negative experience you had and from it all and move on with your head held hight.
