The Guys Who Sang 'Macarena': 'Memba Them?!

My favorite was the "Hey, Macaroni!" you could download onto your computer. So cute! Little pieces of elbow macaroni dancing to the song. Ah, memories.....

If I never hear that song again it will be too soon.

Y'know, that song only became popular because of the Bayside Boys Remix, which added the cute-sounding girl singing "...they call me Macarena".
Then, after it became popular, everybody started playing the original version that nobody liked when it first came out, and guess what? Nobody liked it anymore!
It was the girl, folks!
I've never been able to find out who she was, because they didn't even show her in the video!

They weren't exactly spring chickens (umm Roosters) when they recorded it. But that was an awesome song. Rock on Old guys.
