It's called St.Patricks day, but we Irish call it Paddys Day....though I imagine the accent may make it sound like Paddys day to foreigners. Also, out of interest CÃara is an Irish name and is pronouced Key-ra and not Ce-ara as the American singer pronouces it. Happy Paddys Day everyone :)

Actually you're both wrong. It is Patty, but Paddy is also commonly used. His name wasn't ever Saint Paddrick was it? St. Patty's Day IS the correct shortened version.
