Shelly was the least of all the angels, i think. She couldn't act at all! Not that the show required great acting skills, but, she just could not even make her lines believable - she was by far the worst of all the ladies that became angels on the show. She was better as a model for the 70's "Charlie Perfume" commercials.

She was the charlie perfume girl too. The perfume was nasty! I always thought she was pretty. Still is.

"Shelley retired from acting in 1997". Very gallant of you to phrase it that way. She's still a very attractive woman, and sold a lot of perfume. But she was completley unconvincing as an actress. I hope she found something to do she was more suited for.

Course I remember Shelley Hack . since I worked on Chas. Angels .. but what about Tanya Roberts . she was probably as infamous as Shelley . both VERY nice ladies .. BTW ..Night Court was FILMED . not taped .. Shelley is married to producer/director & writer (I believe) Harry Winer .. they have one child ..

Hey, she acquitted herself alright in Martin Scorsese's KING OF COMEDY, in a scene or two opposite Robert DeNiro no less. Small role, but effective.

All fans of Night Court know the producers forced Markie Post to stuff her shirt! She is in real life an âAâ, but the producers wanted her to look like a bouncing âDâ.
As for this Shelley Hack chick, Iâd do her.

She was great in the original The Stepfather as well as The King Of Comedy. She could act she was just bad on Charlie's Angels and never fit in, she didn't radiate sex like Cheryl Ladd or Jacklyn Smith. She beat out the late Claudia Jennings for the part in C's A's because of Claudia's Playboy history, Claudia would've been great on that show.

She is actually very intelligent and has a degree in Marine Biology. Loved her to death but she could not act. When I was a teenager I wanted to look just like those Charlie ads.
