Steven Tyler: Aerosmith 'Damn Near' Split

Steven Tyler says he's been "married" to Aerosmith for 40 years -- but this past year it almost ended in divorce.

The band is going ahead with a new world tour -- but today at LAX, Tyler finally admitted the obvious and said they were definitely livin' on the edge of a permanent breakup.

Good to see some people can work out their commitment issues.

Somebody tell him to stick to singing and leave the James Brown-like dance steps to younger kids. No more falling off stages.

The man hasn't lost his voice thast's for sure. I'd even say his voice has gotten better with age. Their show does not disappoint either. It sounds as good if not better than what you hear on the recording. Now, if we can just do something about the high ticket prices. My first concert in 1978 was $8...Now, you pay about $160 on up for a act like this one. GREED has ruined the experience of seeing a live show.

Steven has turned into an worn out, drugged up, alcoholic old woman. No disrespect to women, but he is such a bitch. Steven just take your soiled scarfs and worn out song and dance routine and go away. Go shoot up, snort and booze it up and just get it over with. Gee, and the rabbit done died............

Time to hang it up. You had a good run.

I just shook my head when I heard Joe Perry talking about continuing without Steven. That would have been a joke.

Good that Aerosmith did not split up. I saw Aerosmith live-in-concert on January 27th,1988 at the Los Angeles Forum with Dokken and special guest Jon Bon Jovi. And I will see Aerosmith for the second time live-in-concert during Aerosmith's upcoming U.S. tour.
